Right!!!

2 DVD collection, because there would be a lot of footage
Everyone has their favourite professional(s) which can either be a good thing or a bad, it’s quite easy to not take to someone, so why not give us more information about them.

This year we have 14 Professionals, but as I’m sure many fans would like to know more about without delving too far into their personal lives. Last year there was footage of the final professionals, Flavia and Matthew C and this year we have seen some of Ian Waite and inside the Bennett’s home.

I’m opting for an insight into, how each pro got into dancing, their early years, competitions, events they attend, their choreography with their professional partner, just everything to do with their profession beyond strictly really

And just because we all love the pro routines, the second DVD should be filled with the professionals and the audiences favourite dances in strictly, pro group choreography since we never actually see this (they could make an exception for the DVD), all pro interaction (it might be interesting to see what they get up to together behind-the-scenes and some footage from the tour(s).

Also I do think make-up and costume design both inside and out of SCD would be rather interesting (I know a couple of the female pro’s design some of their costumes).

For me the pros make the show, and the celebrities are just an addition, and the results show where we are guaranteed at least 2 professional dances is the highlight of the week (though not the fact it is on a Sunday) I’m also of the opinion if there was a need to stick some info on the judges in, since we don’t know too much about them either, so be it... it might be just as interesting.

These are just my thoughts and hopes, I just wondered what everyone else, maybe we can persuade the BBC, if we show enough interest lol

I love this idea. I find the bits on the pro's really interesting on ITT, and we don't have enough of it.

If something like this did happen, can we have footage of Ian Waite's mantlepeice? He mentioned it last night and now I'm really interested...

I think it's a really great idea the professionals make the programme for me as well, and it'd be awesome to know a bit more about them and to see how they go about choreographing routines for their celebrities and for pro dances/competitions etc.

I support it wholeheartedly

The BBC should really do something like this. It's the professionals that get me watching year after year and yet it still feels like we don't see enough of them at all.
I always want to see them rehearsing their routines - we got a little bit when Kristina did the backstage bit and a second or so on ITT for CIN. They do so much work and it'd be great to see how it all comes together.
The pros make the show for me and they deserve some more attention.

They make the programme for me too. They do the most work and receive the least praise (and the least money too ).

hehe, no sorry.

but it true for the amount of work they do compared to the judges and presenters they get paid tuppence. but i do suppose they earn there money outside of SCD, it still isn't fair and not compared to how much the show must actually earn

You're right, it is true. It's not a bad amount of money BUT compared to what the judges and presenters get paid, it's disgraceful.

I think this is a great idea. I love the pro dances every week, and are a definite highlight for me. A DVD of their best routines...with some extra training footage etc, would be brilliant.

I have to say I love the idea of having a DVD of the pro dances and a little bit about the pros' dancing backgrounds. As the majority of the pro dancers are regulars on SCD now they are building up strong fan bases and I have no doubt that a lot of people would buy the DVD. Their dances have been one of the main reasons that I've still been watching this year.

Perhaps someone should send a nice letter to the BBC...........
