We all knew he had a thing for josh well he said he was BI acording to the offical BB site. They also have another pic of him in a dress.

Paul is now saying that it was the drink taking and he is not Bi.

Yes, I wasn't convinced by his attempts at retraction. His denial, however, (presumably for the benefit of his mates on the outside) will probably mean that he'll avoid getting any closer to Josh for the rest of their residency.

I was going to object to your use of the word "admits" as it implies revealing something that one is, or should be, ashamed of. In Paul's case, though, he doesn't appear to be comfortable with the idea of anyone thinking he can fancy other blokes.

Ok that was a bit unfair but that is what he did is it not?

I could have chosen my words a bit better.

So it seems, which I why I eventually decided not to object (but take care with your semantics in future).

Actually - I was watching it at the time - the transcript, as best I remember it was.....

Someone - Paul, are you gay?
Paul - NO, I'm Bi
Someone - Oh so you ARE bi!
Someone else - How long have you been bi, Paul?
Paul - About, er...30 seconds!

Basically - Paul was fibbing/joking
(maybe even JOSHing...hehe - did you see what I did there?)

Yes, I saw what you did, Ben. It was almost punny!

I also saw Paul making his original statement (in which he twice announced that he was bisexual) and initial retraction before I contributed to this thread. My opinions here still stand. (See also the other thread(s) in which Paul's sexuality was being discussed long before this event). Unfortunately, it seems that we're unlikely to discover much more on this subject unless someone in the house recalls his comments about his drunken escapades (if those comments were indeed made -- did anyone else hear him or had the poster [Spin] been hallucinating?).

H. (wondering why[*] Josh chose to describe himself to the housemates as "gay" instead of, as he's announced elsewhere, "bisexual")
[*] Other than the biphobia exhibited by many "gay" people.
