The Big 4 0
What dances do you think should have gotten 40 and didn't?
Just curious.

Dances that were robbed of a 40 - Colin's Quickstep, Alesha's Waltz, Mark's Argentine Tango.

Definitely Mark's Argentine, and yes I'm still bitter at Craig.

I agree certainly with Karen and Marks AT, and Lisa and Brendans VW!! (Though with the VW it may be a case of refining and it would be a ten dance easy).
Colin and Erin did get 40 for that quick step in a special I think-so they got it in the end!! |

Can Claudia please one day just ASK him why he gave it a 9.
![]() ![]() ![]() Just a teeny little split-second thing, but you know how precious Craig can be

Hhhm, don't shoot the messenger, but at the very start there's a leg movement that isn't in complete synchronicity, and I've always assumed that's why he gave it a 9.
Just a teeny little split-second thing, but you know how precious Craig can be ![]() ![]() ![]() I did spot a couple of things in Rachbot's Foxtrot so....... |

Alesha's Waltz, Colin's QS and (this may be controversial) Jill's paso, which is THE most underrated dance across all 6 series if you ask me

Jill's Paso is by far the best the Paso I've ever seen on Strictly, I actually thought it was better than her jive, how could it only get one ten?

As for 40 dances- Mark and Karen's AT, Alesha's waltz (I really didn't like the waltz before that dance- that is one of the many things I loved about Alesha and Matt- they opened my eyes to what a beautiful dance it can be )

well those were the days they didn't chuck 9s and 10s around for mediocre dances - her jive only got 4 8s remember and look how good it was compared to some of the crap that gets 9s now
Arlene gave Jill's paso a 10, but she was the only one |

Arguably any of the 39s...and a few others besides...but Mark & Karen's AT is the one that springs to mind.

Mark's AT was quite simply the most stunning dance this old git has seen on Strictly.

Gethin and Camilla's waltz in series 5. I am glad to say they did get the Big 40 in the Christmas Special.
