Well I knew compare was there having recently bought a RDRHXD995, so it only took a few seconds.
btw if you do buy one make sure it's region free!

Thanks, for multi-region I have the "Programmable Remote Control" which I bought for a fiver from eBay to convert my 860.

After scanning through all that spiele - (mainly erros in typing and description) the differences is the CAM socket for conditional access and a different remote! Plus one or two cosmetic changes of course..
I am very happy with my £150 RDR-HXD770 bought last Christmas - now actually an 870 since I de-restricted the 160gb hard disk!

After scanning through all that spiele - (mainly erros in typing and description) the differences is the CAM socket for conditional access and a different remote! Plus one or two cosmetic changes of course..
I am very happy with my £150 RDR-HXD770 bought last Christmas - now actually an 870 since I de-restricted the 160gb hard disk!

Is the HDD restricted on the 770 as well? I thought that only the 790 models had the HDD restricted? Or am I missing something here?
