If the judges put Lisa top this week then we are in for fun I think with possibly a Rachel/Tom or Rachel/Austin dance off and the judges getting all huffy.
Surely though, even if Lisa is top of the leaderboard, she could still end up in the bottom two if she has the least public votes (if public vote positions are reversed to that of judges). I don't want this to happen btw as Lisa is one of my favourites.

Tom and Camilla: 75/40
Austin and Erin: 73/40
Rachel and Vincent: 73/40
Lisa and Brendan: 69/40
Christine and Matthew: 63/40
crikey...the judges are gong to be generous with their marks if they are giving 75/40....will they be holding up the 9and 10 paddles together?

Yes she could ofcourse we are down to 5 anything can happen, no one is safe I was only having a fantasy about the judges having to decide between Rachel and one of the boys.

Hmmmm I think:

Lisa Cha Cha/foxtrot - 35/38 =73
Austin Paso/foxtrot - 35/37 =72
Rachel Paso/waltz - 32/38 =70
Tom Samba/waltz - 33/37 = 70
Christine Salsa/tango - 32/30 =62

Dance off: Tom v Rachel Tom goes home (hopes and prays)

I've had it too and I agree it would give the quarter final/semi final and possibly the final more interest so to speak

Not if Rachel was the one knocked out IMO. Might as well just skip to the Tom/Austin final straight away then.

Rachel and Vincent
Waltz: 40
Paso Doble: 36
Total: 76

Tom and Camilla
Waltz: 39
Samba: 36
Tital: 75

Lisa and Brendan
Foxtrot: 36
Cha Cha: 36
Total: 72

Austin and Erin
Foxtrot: 38
Paso Doble: 33
Total: 71

Christine and Matthew
Tango: 32
Salsa: 35
Total: 67

Don't know why, but I think Lisa may surprise us this week. Austin's Paso will be marmite to the judges I believe - good on strength and entertainment, but possibly lackign in technique. Others are self explanatory really.

I've no idea what the scores will be like but I have a feeling Tom might be top on Saturday - he's proven himself to be the most consistent across both latin and ballroom. Rachel next, followed by Austin, then Lisa and finally Christine. Dance off between one of a combination of Rachel, Austin and Lisa with Lisa gone.
Having said what I think is going to happen, I really hope that Lisa isn't the one voted off on Saturday though.

1st...Tom/Camilla - Samba 38/Waltz 39 = 77

2nd...Rachel/Vincent - Paso 36/Waltz 40 = 76

3rd...Austin/Erin - Paso 34/Foxtrot 39 = 73

4th...Lisa/Brendan - ChaCha 31/Foxtrot 38 = 69

5th...Christine/Matthew - Salsa 29/Tango 32 = 61

Although I know Christine has had a huge vote until now I don't think it will be enough to save her from the dance off. Lisa will go through.

Have no idea what the scores will be,it's unknown territory with 2 dances and Christine has pulled off dances when no one expected her to,example the jive, and the others have been weak when least expected.
As for the votes from the public I'd say Tom is getting the most, then it's a toss up between Christine and Austin,Lisa and Rachel evens IMO.
It's the closest final 5 I've ever known since strictly began,if Christine can do a Gethin and pull out something really special, she could win this or be in the final at least, fingers crossed
Whatever the outcome now, best of luck to them all.

Do hope Lisa can really bring it this week, and so completely right about the marmite. That'll be in my head on Saturday when I'm watching it.

Tom and Camilla - Samba - 36 = 75/40
- Waltz - 39

Rachel and Vincent - Paso doble - 34 = 74/40
- Waltz - 40

Austin and Erin - Paso doble - 35 = 72/40
- Foxtrot - 37

Lisa and Brendan - Cha Cha - 32 = 69/40
- Foxtrot - 37

Christine and Matthew - Salsa - 32 = 64/40
- Tango - 32

Danceoff = Lisa vs Rachel - Lisa out!

I'm pretty convinced Lisa's going home - she's one of the worst dancers left in apart from Christine and I've seen nothing that convinces me she can nail fast latin. Christine seems to have the support there so if she is bottom of the leaderboard people will vote her out of the dance-off - Lisa's been there twice so she doesn't.

I've got a feeling that one of the boys will be top this week with the other been second - (I think Austin's Paso is going to be good and the first one I enjoy for the right reasons - John's was entertaining but it wasn't good), followed by Rachel and then either Christine or Lisa. I'd say probably Christine with Lisa bottom - I think Christine's tango will be better than Lisa's cha cha cha although Lisa's foxtrot might be better Christine's salsa. I'm looking forward to it - bring it on.

Wouldn`t even try to predict scores, depends what the judges eat for dinner!

However I do think Christine will be leaving this week as I doubt very much she`ll come higher than 3rd with the judges vote, which by my reckoning she`ll need to be to avoid the dance off.

I'm very surprised by how many of you think that top marks will be awarded. I think the highest mark a dance might achieve on Saturday is 39. Simply because Craig is so miserly with his 10's that I just can't see him brandishing another 10 this week. Am I right in thinking that he has never awarded more than 2 X 10's during a whole series.

Last week If Lisa came bottom of the viewers votes, Christine polled at least 3rd - I think she's polling in the top 2 so I think its possible even if she comes bottom she will avoid the dance off.

Tom, Lisa and Rachel are battling it out; whichever one comes top of the leaderboard should avoid the dance off

Austin IMO is also polling top 2

Christine was bottom of the leaderboard last week and still didnt get into the dance off so being 3rd on the board would be no problem to her. She has NEVER been out of the middles area of the board and has been voted through week after week after week she is the only one whoes vote has been tested over and over and it hasnt let her down so far so cant see why that would suddenly change. Lisa is now in Heather territory and will be lucky to avoid going home. Ofcourse the dance off itself will be more interesting now because if they do one good dance and one bad dance they can still do their good dance in the dance off.

That gave figures when John and Jodie were still in the comp though; Christine would've benefited from these votes enormously and is the only underdog/ Journey story option left for voters.

With both John and Jodie leaving I wouldn't rule out Christine being able to come 2nd in the public vote or top it. Especially if the judges slat her

Rachel will do a technically perfect but personality-free waltz, getting glowing praise from all the judges and get 40 (yawn). Her paso will be less good, say 36, but overall she will be top of the leaderboard.

The two boys (men?) will be next, don't know which order, probably Austin followed by Tom, as for some reason the judges favour Austin despite his upper body 'weakness'.

Lisa will follow, probably being overmarked but not to the extent of being above 4th place.

Christine, despite having done two very good dances, will have every little fault picked out by the judges and be marked bottom, as the judges will decide it is her time to go and will hope to influence the public into voting her out. (Haven't they learnt their lesson from John Sergeant)

The public will vote Christine first (bear in mind she will probably pick up some of Jodie's votes, particularly since Jodie has been supporting her since she left). The boys (men) next, again, don't know the order, then Lisa, then Rachel.

So overall the result will be

Rachel 5 + 1 = 6

Austin 3/4 + 3/4 = 6/7/8

Tom 3/4 + 3/4 = 6/7/8

Lisa 4 + 2 = 6

Christine 1 + 5 = 6

Hmm, didn't realise so many would get 6 before I started doing this .. we could have a 4-way dance-off, in which case Christine will go.

If however, as I predict, the dance-off is between Lisa and one of the boys, Lisa will go, Len will have a hissy fit and rant again about the wrong two being in the dance-off.

If Rachel is anything but first on the leaderboard, she and Lisa will be in the dance-off, and Lisa will go.

Christine wouldnt be in the dance off in your scenario as its the public vote that carries the most 'sway' in a tie As Lisa and Rachel (also on 6) have the bottom public votes they would be in the dance off in your scenario.
