How to cook a greek tin of Meatballs
Bid-tv
27-11-2008
I recently bought some greek food, including meatballs in tomato sauce in a tin. It has no instructions on it, so how best would I be to go about cooking it? I was gonna microwave it, but then thought that might be risky for some reason, so I'll probably boil it. But then what if it's microwave only? Could I end up ruining it?

Unlikely to be microwave only if it comes in a tin. Just slowly bring it to a boil. Serve with rice, probably.

Aww bless. The meatballs will already be cooked so no need for boiling. Stove method - bring them up to a nice low simmer and heat through for 10 mins or so.

Alternatively, empty into a microwave container and nuke em for 3 mins, stir then for another 2 mins. Keep loosely covered to avoid splatter.

How would you warm up any other meatballs? Does it matter which country they come from?
