What a cheek! Walks out on the show and then says he will do the Christmas Special. Glad the prods said No. Anyone else agree?

There is a sneaky BBC backlash against John going on

Dont believe a word of what the Sun writes, they make most of it up as they go along.

I think this might be true, did he not mention on either his ITT interview or the main show that we might see him at Christmas?

I'm glad he won't be doing it, whatever the reason is. Kelly is completely different, because she was forced to leave by family circumstances, maybe she wouldn't have won but I bet she'd have been in the final three of series five, just being saved by the judges. I think the show has pandered to John long enough, allowing him an exit dance without being voted off and a standing ovation for the world's most mediocre routine

I'm sorry we won't be seeing Kristina though- maybe she could be in the pro dance.

You WILL see him at Christmas, but not in the Xmas Special. ALL Slebs come back for the final.

Yes I know that, but he specifically mentioned the Christmas special at one point, I just can't remember where it was.

I think the most intersting part of that 'article' is:

“The only way a contestant from this series can be involved in the Christmas special is if they make it to the last three couples. We have already got our line-up sorted.”

How can they have their line-up sorted when they haven't got down to the last three couples yet...?

I would take that as meaning that we know who the past contestants are, and add to that whoever is in the last three this year. Agreed they can't know who that will be yet, but it's still 3 dancers.

I would love to see JS on the Xmas special.

So they reckon the awful Kelly Brook will be on it?
Have they already decided that Lisa will be out soon?

All sounds very implausible to me.

Chances are Lisa will be out soon, given she's been in the bottom two twice, but Kelly was on Jonathan Ross a few months ago saying she'd be paired with another male pro if Brendan was still in the show. I guess the same goes for Alesha, if Christine is still in.

Because they can state that those involved will quite literally be the last three couples (no need to have names, just the last three couples who remain in the competition)

Well, there will be the last three couples, so although they do not know exact names they have it sorted

If it's only the couples that made it to the last three, how can Kelly Brook be in it?

Exactly lets squeeze some more milage out of this ever increasingly dull story.

.... with a continuance of an even duller conspiracy theory.

Exactly - they should have said "finish the show or bugger off"

If he did it would end up being 'The John Sergeant Show' again

It's bad enough with Kelly doing it.

I'd rather John than Kelly Brooke. Hopefully Lisa gets into the last three then she wont be able to dance because Brendan will be dancing with Lisa.
