It won't be next week (unless the BBC are psychic), as there will still be four in the competition so no-one will know which three of them are going to do it!

I'm half hoping they might film it the Monday after the final, which is what they did in series three. I think it's a bit unfair on this series' contestants to add it to their semi-final pressure.

And the evidence is what exactly?

I doubt it is true. What is most likely is that John, as with most of the celebs who have appeared this year, said through his agent, weeks ago, that he would be available for the Christmas special.

I would love to see him on it but think it is unlikely that he has actually put himself forward as such.
