Certainly seemed like it on today's ITT.

Did you know she's a fan of the show?

It didn't go unoticed by me either. No doubt she will ge the Rachel treatment this week and get overmarked to protect her

The judges cannot make us like her. I don't actually dislike her but I can't warm to her partnership with Brendan.

I like Lisa a lot but i did get the impression from Arlene tonight that shes going to give Lisa a good score regardless.
Id love to see Lisa do an amazing cha cha though. All the contestants have done very mediocre cha chas this year.

It would have been nice to have had a slightly impartial panel, wouldn't it? Or at least a mixture of favourites! I swear they had "Vote for Lisa" placards down the back of the sofa, it would have been more subtle!

Lisa's training looked good but then it always looks amazing if you listen to Arlene. Then she tends to tighten up on the night and if her cha cha looks anything like the dance at the end of ITT it'll be a car crash!

I hope she gets her nerves under control and does a dance she can be proud of, I wish the same for all of them really!

the thing is Arlene never got a chance to talk about Rachel so for all we know she may have had lots of postivie things to say about Rachel too.

There's me feeling chuffed she finally got some real praise on ITT and this thread has a full conspiracy going on by post 2. Hilarious

There's no shortage of conspiracy theories this year. I don't see why Lisa should be left out.

She could get top marks from the judges and STILL be in the dance off there are only 5 left no one is left.

true. Am i right in thinking if her and Rachel are top on the leaderboard but get the least votes they could still be in the dance of together?

The judges are not stupid they know who is getting the most votes. I noticed Tom getting negative comments as well tonight- even though IMO he is the best dancer of them all.

It's quite exciting actually Veri Lisa is newsy enough for a conspiracy theory. I feel blessed woo !

That show was designed to lift Lisa's spirits after having been in the dance off twice in as many weeks. The Cha Cha will probably be mediocre tomorrow night and her Foxtrot will be good.
She'll be marked below the others (bar Christine perhaps) and I expect she'll be in the dance off.
Arlene often says one thing on Friday and changes her mind by the time Saturday night rolls round.

I don't think Lisa's the show's favourite - she got lots of praise on tonight's ITT but I think that was well-deserved - her training did look really good and I hope she does well tomorrow.

I agree, thought her training footage looked excellent and deserved the praise. She's been criticised for her posture and gapping on previous dances and - shock horror - she's worked on that and fixed the problems! God forbid!

I'm really looking forward to seeing the dances on the show tomorrow night.

the judges are going to score Lisa very highly tommorow to prevent her from being bottom, u can tell before she has even stepped on the floor! they did the same with Rachel, they going to protect their favourites, clever game they play!!!! they cant trust the public anymore

No, only one of them could.

So eg

Rachel 5 + 2
Lisa 5 + 1
Tom 3 +5
Austin 2 + 4
Christine 1 + 3

If this is the scenario Lisa and Christine would be bottom as Austin would escape by winning the public vote between him and Lisa.

Rachel and Lisa could be in the top two positions on the leaderboard though and both be in the dance off if the public reverse the judges' vote.

All the couples would end on the same score with Lisa and Rachel missing out due to having a lower pubic vote than the others.

The whole panel were annoying tonight...and Arlene was in hype mode...and certainly that was noticeable when she was gushing about Lisa.

I understand the judges are paid to be cheerleaders for the show but they could do with toning it down a bit. It's unmistakeably phoney...and there's no need for it. It reached ridiculous levels last year and I don't want this year going the same way.

Arlene thought Tom was okay only. So, does that mean the judges are about to sacrifice Tom and choose Austin over him as their male for the final ?

Their dream scenario is to get rid of Christine, but the public might keep her out of the bottom two.

So, Lisa against Tom dance-off, vote off Tom, works well.

I completely agree and I've already said on the ITT thread that Arlene in particular has been talking up Lisa - tonight and earlier in the week too. I hope Lisa pulls it out of the bag as I thought she looked good in training, but tbh I couldn't see the criticisms Arlene was mentioning about the other couples - I clearly know nothing! I think it is pretty clear Arlene thinks Lisa is streets ahead of Christine - I just can't see the gap.
