Toshiba Engineers Out There?

Hi guys,

i've just bought a toshiba 37XV565 from pixmania, fantastic TV, great menus, great picture, everything spot on.

one little niggle, and it is only a little niggle that im curious about is that when scanning for freeview channels it starts to store them at 800 and onwards. which is fine as all i have to do is prefix the channel number with an 8 but i was wondering if there was any way of sorting this out to be the normal channel numbers?

I have spoken to toshiba and they have said the TV is a french model and the country is set to france by default, i was wondering if there were any tosh engineers out there that knew of any set up menus i can access to change the country setting as it is currently greyed out...there seems to be no way of changing it on the regular menus, i was just wondering if there were any menus accessible via a sequence of button presses like on some other equipment

any pointers or info would be great

If this doesn't then do a google for 'toshiba "service menu"' and that brings up lots of possibilities.

Be very very careful inside the service menu.
