Does anyone know the order they are dancing in tonight?Whoever goes first could be at a disadvantage in tems of scoring if the judges are not warmed up.
The BBC site lists them in this order, but I think the actual running order has only tallied with the website order a couple of times:

Rachel & Vincent - Waltz and Paso
Lisa & Brendan - Foxtrot and Cha Cha
Christine & Matthew - Tango and Salsa
Austin & Erin - Foxtrot and Paso
Tom & Camilla - Waltz and Samba

Last year (and the year before, I think) we started with the ballroom round, so this could work:

Rachel & Vincent - Waltz
Lisa & Brendan - Foxtrot
Christine & Matthew - Tango
Austin & Erin - Foxtrot
Tom & Camilla - Waltz

Rachel & Vincent - Paso
Lisa & Brendan - Cha Cha
Christine & Matthew - Salsa
Austin & Erin - Paso
Tom & Camilla - Samba

If Christine doesn't beat both boys in the public vote she is in the bottom two if she scores lowest with the judges (unless I missed an odd perm)
Unless the boys finish first and second on the leaderboard which I admit is unlikely from what we've seen this week.
We could then possibly have this scenario.

1/2 (public and judges) Austin/Tom in any order - scores irrelevant.

Judges Public
3. Lisa Christine
4. Rachel Rachel
5. Christine Lisa

(This would also work if you swap Lisa and Rachel round obviously.)

I disagree, I think the boys are the most popular. The reason that I think Tom got more votes than Austin is because Austin was high on the leaderboard that week and so his fans didn't panic vote.

I think Tom and Austin have been nip and tuck all series, John aside, for top position with the public.

I think Christine is 3rd with Rachel next and then probably Lisa bottom.

Everyone said that Christine will pick up Jodie and John's lost votes, but I don't think people really switch allegiance very much, if Austin goes out I'm not voting for anyone and I think lots of people have their favourite and only their favourite that they would vote for. They pick another couple but don't have the passion that they did for the original couple.

This board is quite different from the public in that respect, I think. We're more hardcore SCD fans.

I think bottom 2 will be Christine and whichever of the 2 other girls are not top of the leaderboard. If Tom or Austin (unlikely) is top, it will be Lisa and Rachel in the bottom 2.

If we take your order which fits The People but not the polls -

Public vote Alli-F's order
Tom 5
Austin 4
Christine 3
Rachel 2
Lisa 1

Judges vote

Tom 5
Austin 4
Christine 1
Rachel 3
Lisa 2

= Christine v Lisa. Swap Rachel and Lisa in the judges vote and its then Rachel v Lisa. Swap Rachel and Lisa in the public vote and its Rachel v Lisa.

If you have a judges vote of

Tom 3
Austin 2
Christine 1
Rachel 4
Lisa 5

Its Christine v Lisa or if Lisa is more popular than Rachel - Christine v Rachel. Same people in bottom two if you make them equal with the judges or reverse the judges order between Rachel and Lisa.

Thats the one. The bottom line I think is that Christine has to be first or second in the public vote or the least popular girl has to be the top girl performer to save Christine.

I agree, and I think Christine will poll in the top two with the public.

I think it will be a Lisa ,Rachel dance off......lisa to go, she is not have the public behind her.
Christine is the heart of the show, she is the only one who does not whine and moan, she just gets on with it with a huge smile.....love her.

They'll perform their strongest dance if Lisa is in the bottom and dances her Foxtrot (which people are going gar gar over) she may actually stay... even against Rachel...

I'm saying Lisa vs Rachel

Rachel out!
Hmmmm, tough call but I reckon if it came down to a dance off between the two they would sve rachael.

I too hope it is Christine who goes. She has been getting away with doing "just enough" to avoid the dance off for too long when others (ie everyone else who is still there) have shone week after week.

With Jodie gone, Christine knows this is her last chance. If she doesn't deliver this week and then gets bailed out again, then "Sergeant-gate" will be trumped by "Bleakly-gate". Cherie was good but at best she was only a potential finalist. This would be a different kettle of fish entirely if Christine survived. A potential WINNER would be going.

But I am worried for Lisa. Fingers crossed that she really turns it on tonight.

One thing that will be absolutely crucial if Christine finishes at the bottom with the judges....whether two couples are tied for third or not. A tie makes it harder for her to overtake two couples and therefore avoid the dance off.
This is what I am looking out for the most.

I respectfully disagree. Lisa will go, imo, and she's not a potential winner.

Christine, however, IS a potential winner, imo.

whoever goes tonight, is going to be a great dancer..
and whoevers going to be in the final is going to be a great dancer..
it just depends who the public like the most.

what im tryin to say to put it simpler, they are all great dancers.. its know down to whoever is the most popular etc..

Should be Christine, much as I like her. But I think the dance off will be Lisa + Rachel or Lisa + Tom.

From what I've seen on here Lisa just does not have support from women. Call it the long-legs-Clooney factor.

By rights I'd like to see any of Lisa, Rachel, Tom & Austin in the final.

Quite like Lisa to go although I do accept that she is not the worst dancer but I quite like Christine who is the worst dancer and will be on the bottom of the leader board

Christine's lovely but she's the weakest dancer by far & it's a dance contest.

Lisa's certainly a potential finalist based on her dancing.

Nooo! I wish I'd thought of it first though! I'll lick anywhere though, I'm not fussy!

And why on earth does everyone think it's me? Lickle innocent old me!

I meant that she could potentially win due to public support, whereas Lisa, I don't think, commands enough support from the public voting.

It is not really a dance contest or it would not contain celebs it is a talent/personality contest which the vehicle is dance/ice skating/singing/choir (no strike the last one)

Christine is a good dancer. She's yet to convince me she's great but I know a lot of people really like her so she must be doing something right.
If she does survive another week however, I can see her getting abuse from the show's purists, particularly if she survives ahead of someone who has been marked significantly more highly than she has. This, to my mind, would be somewhat unfair. Yes, the other celebs have produced performances that have been technically excellent and probably better than anything that Christine would be able to do. However, Christine has developed as a dancer, came to the show with no experience and is doing a good job.
If she performs this week as she did last week then IMO she should go but if she gets enough votes to stay then I'll have no problem with that. Them's the rules.

I think Christine may well survive another week, particularly if she dances well, even if she's still at the bottom of the leaderboard. I think we could be in for some high scores tonight and an "interesting" dance off.

Its about dancing and ENTERTAINMENT.

I would rather watch a good dancer who can entertain me than a perfect dancer who bores me to tears.

COME ON CHRISTINE......

I don't know why people keep saying it's not a dance contest when that's exactly what it is. A dance contest with celebs. I don't understand the chavvy obsession with "personality", I'm here for the dancing.

This British obsession with non-competition & suppporting the underdog - ie the crappest - bores me to death.
