Ancient Ipod!
Hi folks
General query for someone to answer hopefully. I have recently had to purchase a new PC as my old one went renegade on me. While I was on my spending purge, I decided to buy a new Ipod also. My problem is that I have almost 17GB worth of songs on my previous Ipod (a first generation Ipod thats 6 years old!). Not knowing that my PC was about to go tits up, I never backed up my previous Itunes library. Is there any way of transferring the files contained on my old Ipod to the new PC and version of Itunes? I have most of the original CD's however I dont really want to go to the trouble of having to upload almost 10,000 songs again Many thanks guys |

First generation iPods only had max 10GB capacity. Just for the record
![]() Officially you can't do it. However there are tools out there to do it. XPlay is one for Mac, but Google about and there will be a Windows equivalent. |
