Hi,

Im looking to buy the Sony KD-28DX50 TV. but i am not too sure where is the best place to buy it.

I want a good price obviously but dont want dodgy customer service. I had a look into Techtronics and EmpireDirect both good prices but i read some reviews that has made me think twice about them. Anyone with experiences with these companies? or can you suggust someone else?

thanks in advance

Adrian

I have seen good prices at Unbeatable, Edgeware and PRC, but not all these have it in stock!

It is only a slight gamble buying things from someone like Techtronics or Empire. Most of the time everything goes fine, it's only on the few occasions that there is a problem with your order that things get stressful. The usual problems are delays, and that is often not the fault of the retailer. If you make sure what you are ordering is in stock and is a current model, you should be OK.

I tried ordering a KD-28DX40 through Techtronics, and they were good enough to ring me back after a few days to let me know the model was being discontinued and would likely not be available. I thought that was good service!

I did try going into my local Sony Centre yesterday, and they were prepared to haggle (or 'price-match') especially if you buy other kit at the same time.

Let us know how you get on!

I work at bennetts(east anglian independant company). We have the DX50's in stock.

We are the cheapest retailer but cannot compete with most internet companies.

I think we are around £600 for the TV.We do have a good deal on the 32",TV,VCR and DVD at £970.

And we offer excellent customer service!

This is the website www.bennettsonline.co.uk but some deals are not on the internet. There is a number there to phone who will offer you the deal I explained. Our store can only deliver to Norfolk but the website deliver anywhere.
