4TV / Inview EPG ERROR

I have a Thomson DHD4000.

"Heroes" was set several days ago to record on Wednesday 3rd December, BBC-3, at 10pm. It was done via the EPG entries; I don't trust the 'weekly repeat', as broadcasters keeps shifting the schedules

There was a message this morning, saying that the broadcast time may have changed. So I checked the EPG. "Heroes" was nowhere to be seen.

The programme before it is listed as ending at 22.00. The next programme is listed as starting at 22.45. There is no blank space between the two.

Anyone else notice this?

I didn't notice that one, but they completely missed out Stricly Come Dancing tonight. Just nothing between Hole in the Wall and Merlin.

Heroes is also missing from my Digifusion. Interestingly it's missing on Digiguide for the PC as well. They have The Last Millionaire running from 2100-2245 (almost certainly a mistake).
But Heroes still appears on my Humax and on my trusty Woolworths WorthIt! box.
I expect it's a listings glitch and it will probably be put right before Wednesday.

I had the same problem on Saturday, not with Heroes though.

It was Strictly Come Dancing (my wife insists it is recorded!), Saturday morning I saw the message light was on, the 1st time I have seen this is in many years of DHD4000 ownership, it too seemed that SCD was missing from the schedule.

Funnily enough I had an orange "message" waiting for me Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings telling me that the time for Wallander had changed on Sunday night. Even after I deleted the recording from the list and added it again I'd still just get the message the following day again.....even though it never once actually changed from 9pm on Sunday night in the listings !

I'm guessing the 4000 is struggling a bit at the mo

I had the same thing with Wallander on my 4000. It was because the title had changed (from "Wallander" to "Wallander : Sidetracked"!), nothing to do with the start time.

More likely that the data providers are struggling.

You're right; I'd have more faith in the EPG if the BBC were supervising the data input.

EPGs supplied by third parties are asking for trouble.

Trouble is that whoever supplies the EPG, it will be third party for some of the channels.
