i pod shuffle
I hope someone can help me out here! (I am a newbie to ipods!)
http://www.play.com/Electronics/Elec...e/Product.html I have just bought my daughter (13) an ipod shuffle 2GB for a Christmas present. I have 2 questions, firstly, do I have to buy a "dock" for it as I saw one in HMV today and I'm not sure if I need one or not. Also is this what is sometimes called a "second generation" ipod shuffle? I am clueless when it comes to these things, but the reason I wanted to know is becuase my sister was going to order these: http://www.play.com/Electronics/Elec...searchsource=0 |

No you dont have to buy a dock. In the ipod box is a cabe which is usb to ipod-shuffle. This is used to put music and to charge the ipod. Depending on the set up of computer you my wish to buy another dock (usb - ipod shuffle lead) and addaptor so she can charge her ipod with out connecting it to a computer or a simple ipod shuffle charger.
in a shuffle box you get. Their a 3 generrations of ipod shuffle, the 2nd and 3rd gen are basicly the same, so yes you either have a 2nd or 3rd gen (only the 3rd gen is avdable in more coulors and large memory size) So the covers you want to buy will be fine. The first generration looked more like a packet of chewing gum and had a usb connection on the end. |
