I am fuming about the marks the judges gave Christine and Matthew, absolutley fuming!!

Yes the judges may have wanted her at the bottom of the leader board, but they could of given her better marks, let them have the dignity they deserve..

I know their tango wasnt brilliant, but we all knew, i think themselves included that it wasnt going to be their strongest dance! But THEIR SALSA WAS FANTASTIC AND WRONGLY WAYYYY UNDERMARKED!!!!! Poor girl, there was nothing wrong with it, perhaps a little bit, only a little bit more hip movement. However, What do the poor souls have to do now to get a decent and rightly deserved mark for their dances????
30 was ridiculous, it was far much better then Rachels paso yet she gets the higher score, i just dont get it?!?!

I hope and pray she is through to next week, she was so underamrked and it was not fair on them!!

Who agrees, i only want people who agree and no harsh comments please!!

With regards to her tango I was in agreement with the judges I'm affraid. Her second dance however, I loved. I hope she makes it as well, I really like her.

Its an open forum, you can't filter responses.

I thought she was marked right. I thought her Tango was overmarked, but rightly given the bottom spot - Len gave it 8 which was too high but it was his lowest score, so the overall leader board worked.

Her Salsa was also marked OK for me - she is the worst left and rightly was bottom.

I really like Christine, she is so positive and gives it her all.....plus she does have a day job !!! unlike some of the others who can practise all day and night

I really disliked the way Tess kept reminding her that she was bottom !! and also asking her if she felt she was the outsider.....a bit harsh

Love Christine to bits, but I thought she was generously marked tonight.

She's out of her depth now

Sorry have to disagree with the OP the marks were a little generous for Christine tonight IMO. The tango wasn't nearly sharp or staccato enough (but then the music didn't really help with that) and the salsa was stompy but more entertaining than the Tango. I would have given her a point or two less to be honest but it's each to their own isn't it.

The tango was a car crash and actually over marked imo. She's done well to keep up so far but she's by far the weakest dancer now.

Christine is lovely and vibrant and has performed some beautiful ballroom dances. However the tango really wasn't her dance and it showed (I made the ragdoll comment at home before the judges said much the same). The salsa was so so. Irrespective of the finer points of the marking, I think she was placed correctly this week.

I love Christine, she takes it on the chin, doesnt weep and moan about it, she smiles and looks like she is really enjoying it. She doesnt have the whole day to practice like others....but you never hear her moan.

GOOD LUCK CHRISTINE

Hear Hear Casper - she always remains smiling and never complains.

The tango was not good but I did enjoy the salsa. The salsa is a freestyle dance and the judges forget this.

I do think she is struggling though. She has done so well to get this far.

I think the marks, and therefore her position on the leaderboard, were quite right. She is a very lovely girl and has a wonderful smile, but she is not the best dancer in the show

thank you........

I get no sense of enjoyment from Lisa or Rachel....
Tom and Austin is all about them.......

Christine is the only one who really enjoys it...no complaints no moans...no false tears..

Leaderboard was right and Christine should have been at the bottom.

Nice girl,to get this far is a massive achievement for her but this is far enough.

There tango was terrible. I thought the salsa was great but unfortunately shes not in the same league as the others now. Even lisa managed to step up her game.

Her dances had me cringing. Someone else going home this week would be totally unfair. IMHO.

Did anyone notice that Len didn't really comment on Christine salsa, that says it all.
Christine needs to go this week, as lovely as she is,it would be unfair for a better dancer to go.

I wonder if that's because she's had NO encouraging comments from the judges. Perhaps there's a ratio between improvement, confidence and encouragement. If that's the case then with little encouragement from the 4 - I reckon she's done very well.
Personallly if it had been me I would have found it very difficult to carry on after Jodie had been evicted...but god bless her she's the only one not disolved into tears and not used some pale excuse (good god Tom's cough was laughable!) to excuse her dances.

Christine if you go tonight you've been a perfect role model; never a tear, never a tantrum, never a cold and good grief you actually work as well! Wonder what you would have achieved if you'd had all day to train?

Fingers crossed for you babe!

AGree there, Christine never whinges like some of the others.......Rachel seemed to think she was the only person in the comp tonight, telling Tess how hard it had been for her having to do two dances.....er they all did TWO dances didnt they.....
Rachel is always me me me .....

I find Rachel is very hard to warm to, she looked well put out that Austin got better marks than her for the paso. I dont have so much of a problem with Lisa- but she was overmarked.

Christine is the only one who botheres to thank the people who vote for her.

Couldn't agree more. Also I can't stand another week of simpering 'oh! the public like little old me' act.

Oh come on - Christine is a lovely, kind, smily, hardworking girl, who has done some great ballroom dances this year, but she is seriously outclassed now in the dancing stakes. If she stays in it will not be because she is better than the others. MIHO of course.
