Craig loves the cape, Len hates it, he made comments about it in Tom's paso, and repeated the same thing about Vincent - so no, I didn't find it odd at all

I agree. She has been a lovely contestant but everything comes to an end eventually and it was her time to go.

She can hold her head up high knowing she did a great job. Wow! Reached the final five, not many can say the same.

Her tango was one of the worst I've seen.
Her salsa was perfectly acceptable. SCD never produces good salsa. NEVER!

Lovely person she seems to be but that doesn't make you deserving of high dance marks. I'd still keep her in above either of the other girls but a better dancer than those two she is NOT.

I hope she goes tonight, not in the same class as the others now. I've wanted her to go for a while. Any of the others would be worthy winners, never been a great fan of Lisa but voted for her last night because I thought she was the best.

Christine, lovely as she is, deserves nothing more than a taxi home after last nights performances! She simply cannot compete with the other 4!

I thought there was some undermarking and overmarking but overall her score from the judges was about right and so was her place on the leaderboard.

Lovely girl but hasn't made the same improvement as others. Early in the series she was fine compared to others but now she is looking very vulnerable and out of her depth.

Christine reminds me a lot of Letitia. Lovely, good partnership with her pro but not in the same league dancing wise as the other celebs left.

Yes the judges may have wanted her at the bottom of the leader board, but they could of given her better marks, let them have the dignity they deserve..

I know their tango wasnt brilliant, but we all knew, i think themselves included that it wasnt going to be their strongest dance! But THEIR SALSA WAS FANTASTIC AND WRONGLY WAYYYY UNDERMARKED!!!!! Poor girl, there was nothing wrong with it, perhaps a little bit, only a little bit more hip movement. However, What do the poor souls have to do now to get a decent and rightly deserved mark for their dances????
30 was ridiculous, it was far much better then Rachels paso yet she gets the higher score, i just dont get it?!?!

I hope and pray she is through to next week, she was so underamrked and it was not fair on them!!

Who agrees, i only want people who agree and no harsh comments please!!”

To be fair, if it was undermarked, it will only serve to undermine their confidence, rather than affect their place on the leaderboard. In terms of technique Christine was placed about right overall. She did a great performance in the salsa though. I agree that Rachel's paso was not very good.

I remember Claudia saying on itt that the choice of music is down to the celeb and pro partner.
Aparently the pro's and cleb get together on first meeting and discuss musical taste, so the choice of music is upto the celeb/pro.

I understand that this isn't quite the case. They do not have a completely free choice any more than they do with which dance they are going to perform. It's dependent on the wonderful Dave Arch and his orchestra some some extent.

Probably copy rights, and orchestration come into it, and whether, some one eles has chosen the same song recently. However I believe that the partnership has to agree the choice of song or they couldn't get up dance to it.

Christine has always danced with dignity and I've always liked her (but preferred Lisa which says it all).

Last night she was out of her depth and she was not in the same league as the others. But that said she scores 10s on personality!

Sad to say I hope she goes tonight.

At the start of the series I was voting for Christine, there was little to choose between her and Lisa.

I think Lisa has improved amazingly in the last few weeks, Christine, as lovely as she is, has not improved IMO.

I think Christine got the scores she deserved last night, I voted for Lisa!

Craig likes anything theatrical, Len wants steps right from the beginning and no messing about As for Christine, she deserved to be at the bottom of the leaderboard, she was the worst last night. And I would have never thought I would say this, but I really liked Brandan and Lisa, he really did change this year, he prepares a great choreography and let Lisa enjoy herself whatever the result is, which in turn helped her improve the way she did.

Christine is a real beauty inside and outside.

Arlene is jealous otherwise she would not make unfair remarks.
Lisa and Rachel have 'look beautiful' days but they will never have Christine's interior beauty no matter how hard they try. this is way theya re so inconsistent one minute up then down, there is nothing to keep them above the average.
when are we going to see more of real people like Flavia and Christine on TV?

Have to agree, the heart of the show has gone.

I voted for Christine because I like her (on SCD and the One Show) and Matt dancing, but I do think her marks were about right last night (can't say that about some of the other celebs though imho), but in dancing terms she was the weakest last night. I thought her dance off performance was great too!

I think she did very well, always looked stunning to me and had a great attitude to the judges comments. I'll miss her loads as she was always smiling and tried to be positive, which let's face it must have been hard sometimes. I do hope she never reads these boards and sees how much negativity she attracted - it will be someone else's turn now.

I wish I had Christine's strength of character.
How did she manage to stand tall and smile after so many slaps straight to her face.It must hurt her so much.
Sleep well, Christine. At least you don't have to be humiliated by them again. You danced for us. Thank you

Did not appreciate the direct comparison that Arlene made about Christine and Lisa's respective journeys.

How awful must that have made Christine feel?

Arlene was bang out of order - utterly unprofessional. But that's the kind of person she seems to have turned into. Anything to support her favourites. Her tragic bitching says much more about her than it does about Christine.

Arlene, I have two words to say to you: BRITANNIA HIGH.

I will miss Christine's dancing - full of far more spirit than the technically excellent therefore protected-at-all-costs Rachel ...
