Can anyone out there confirm when the heel lead should be done in the foxtrot?

Because watching Lisa's dance, it seemed to me she got them wrong (lovely heel turn though). She seemed to be doing all toe leads and I'm very surprised she wasn't picked up on it despite the performance.

Nope as I have four in my routine, and in my waltz, two reverse ones one directly after the other, she did it right, which after three years one hour a week, I still struggle with, she came out on right part of th efoot too!!

As a rule of thumb, you do a heel lead on a slow and toes for the quicks.

Because heel leads are taken on a forward step, the men have far more heel leads than the ladies. When the ladies are going backwards they do so with a 'toe release' or dragged heel.
