Please don't read the "awful judging" thread if you don't want to know the result.

Just realised that I have inadvertently posted a spoiler in this thread. I am so, so sorry. Don't think there's any way of removing my post. It's not too obvious and the post is quite long so hopefully nobody has been affected so far.

Grovelling apologies again.

If you ask admin nicely, they'll probably remove the post for you, so the spoiler doesn't appear in the thread.

Thanks. How do I do that?

Though I've just been through your post history and can'tsee where you posted the spoiler in the Awful Judging thread. It may have been removed already, or you may have muddled the threads you posted in up.

But the 'contact' is the link above.

As I said, it's not blatant but it could be seen by implication. Now I come to think of it I may be making things worse. I'll shut up now.

As I said, didn't see anything implication or otherwise, but then I may be thick.

I've contacted DS and they have confirmed receiving my request. The guilty post is still there. It mentions no names or circumstances so you'd have to read it quite carefully. As I said, it's quite long so hopefully people will just ignore or skim it and not get the finer points. It didn't dawn on me that there could be implications until well after I'd posted it but I don't want to annoy people who are quicker minded than I am.

Oh, I think I see the post now. But it only says one of the couples who stays - not about who goes.

Don't worry about it, people generally skim read long posts anyway.

Can't you just edit the post and delete that bit yourself? Sounds easier than contacting admin etc..

No. I posted it ages ago and didn't even think about it containing a possible spoiler as it's not immediately apparent and that was certainly not my intention. Thanks for replying though (and to the earlier poster too). Yes, it would have been easier if possible!

Don't worry there's lots of accidental inference spoilers about tonight. Its the current topics that cause it and its very hard talking about 4 people in one thread and 5 in another.

Thanks for the supportive messages. I don't want to offend anyone. Why is the results show on a bl**dy Sunday?

Ratings.

SCD gets better ratings on a relaxed Sunday night schedule then late Saturday when they have to fit round The X Factor.

Could they not do the whole lot on Sunday then? Or is that too simplistic?

What, and hand ITV1 a Saturday night whitewash???

If you consider the only show that currently and consistently rates over 5.5m on a Saturday for BBC1 is SCD, and you can see why they don't want to switch the main show over to Sunday's.

Apart from preferring the format of having the results on Saturday (and that topic has been done to death before) I can't understand why they try and pretend on the results show that it's Sunday night.

Admin has put spoiler tags around the offending post now. Hopefully no harm done!
