Final Countdown

This is one of my favourite songs, and as soon as I started hearing the intro yesterday I thought it was going to be good, so I settled back and prepared to enjoy the song and dance.

But I was wrong! The singers absolutely murdered it. It was like 'Spice up your life' all over again. I had to cover my ears and watch the dance in silence...

Anyone else felt the same? What did all of you make of the song?

There were a few wobbles in that vocally. Also, can't remember the number off hand - think it was in the ballroom - there was something odd going in the brass section! Sounded like someone had accidentally swallowed their trumpet at one point.

However - gotta realise these guys are doing a live performance so cutting some slack I think is the order of the day!

Yes the singing was probably the worst I have heard on SCD. But, dancing a paso to 'The Final Countdown'......Puhleeease!

They also did it with Lisa's Cha Cha song - tears dry on their own.

Bring back the CD!

Not sure if it's the same thing mentioned here, but at one time I thought someone in the audience was messing about with a toy trumpet like they do at football matches!!! It was absolutely dreadful. If it was a one-off disarrrrrrrrrrstar, I would agree about cutting them some slack, but they are bad every week, and just seem to be getting worse.
