You may be right, but it's an odd reason to have the problems with her that people seem to have, which seem to be about what they believe about her personality.

When did she start dating George Clooney, btw?

I think they met when filming an ad together.

I just find myself wondering what advice/critique she would give to one the girls in Next Top Model who appeared as nervous she does at times.

Could be, but I haven't seen anyone say that.

Could be, but when was it? I want to compare it to such things as when she started presenting on MTV.

She is completely different on BNTM but I cant remember seeing her being unduly unkind or anything.

Well I think she seems a nice enough person who is trying her hardest. And she is bringing out a less arrogant and bullying Brendan, which is nice. Couldn't give a flying fork about her private life - it has no bearing on the work she is doing on the show.

No, sorry, didn't mean that at all.

It's just that they've had people who are nervous wrecks in front of the judging panel and the advice is usually - given either kindly or firmly - that you can't be so thin skinned, especially in that particular job.

It's probably interesting for Lisa to see it from the other side of the judges table (like it would have been for Craig in MasterChef) and it will be interesting to see if it gives her a bit more empathy with the trembling girls waiting in front of her for critique.

I would also say that about the only time she gets irritated is when the girls on BNTM don't try their hardest or take on board advice and criticism they've been given by the judges - something she's be complemented on by Arlene in particular.

Wasn't she in a relationship with George Clooney on two separate occasions? Whatever, I don't see what difference it makes how she became well known. It's not like she's Rebecca Loos and did a kiss-and-tell on a married man.

And TBH I can't imagine what it's like being above the bottom two on the judges leader board and then being dumped into the dance off after the public vote. I think there are few people who wouldn't get a little bit introspective after that and wonder 'what is it that people don't like about me?'

Give her a break.

I thought it was quite honest and straight to say "people don't like me", instead of blaming "middle of the leaderboard" and other excuses most people bring out. It's true, if you're in the bottom two it means the public votes for you less than for the others. It also means you have to make sure your dancing is above the other contestant's if you want to stay in, which she's clearly working hard to do.
I'm not a fan of Lisa & Brandon's (I find most of their dances not bad but quite forgettable), but I don't see anything "offputting" in her remarks.

If you're the sort of person who is affected by having your popularity status aired for all to see then a popularity contest...sorry, I mean a reality show is not the best thing to engage in. I'm sure Lisa can handle it, modelling is a harsh business and she appears to have survived that intact.

I think the difference being rejected for a modelling job than is SCD is that with modelling you know you might not have the right "look" and you are probably being rejected on the strength of a casting in front of a couple of people, with SCD the GBP are voting on you and that must seem like a bigger rejection
