I am not sure if I will vote. I didn't vote on Saturday whereas on the previous Saturday I voted three times for Christine.
I'll wait and see how they dance next Saturday. I have no particular favourite though would like to give Rachel a boost.

I agree, it was heartbreaking but I'm sure she was a little bit relieved. She looked beautiful and went out in style!
I'd really love if you would shed a little vote for your next favourite.

I suspect that some of Christine's "nicest personality" vote will go to Tom, but most of her votes will go to no-one, so the two remaining girls will still be struggling to match Tom & Austin in the public vote.
An Austin-Rachel dance off in quarter- or semi-final week would give the judges a real problem, as one of their two favourites would have to go. So watch the judges try and give Lisa the chop next week and Tom the week after.
Tom fans can get him through next week with their votes, but not through the semis, unfortunately. If Tom is bottom of the judges' semi-final leader board, he's gone in the dance-off with Rachel.
When a dancer drops out during the series and the semi is reduced to a three-person affair, the judges have the power that they crave to decide the finalists.

I haven't decided 100%, but probably Tom. He's a very good dancer but he puts a lot of character into it. I haven't been a BIG fan so far, but I've enjoyed the majority of his dances. The fact that he seems to be a really nice guy is just a bonus.
No one. I am now in the uncomfortable position of not actually caring who does end winning, only passionately who does not. Which will make my weekends less expensive, if not necessarily more relaxing.

That's how I feel.
For me this is the worst series ever of SCD. I've been watching old clips on YouTube and the joy that comes from watching some many couples having a fabulous time learning to dance is missing for me this year. Apart from Austin's Paso, the best part of this series for me has been the pro dances which I never really appreciated properly before.
Can't believe I'm saying this, but that's how I feel right now and it is not really because of Christine going home, more about who is left in.

Yes the 3 couple semi favours the judges but there is a way to ensure the bottom placed person is saved. Ensure that second place gets more votes than top (assuming bottom gets most). That would put them all on equal points and bottom place saved. This didn't happen last year unfortunately and the votes for Gethin were wasted.
However, I do agree that the Judges will try and orchestrate an Austin/Rachel final. In which case I probably won't watch, not because I have any particular beef against them, but I'll feel that it makes a mockery of the public vote.

I agree - they had the chance to 'correct' the scenerio from last year but once again BBC have failed to listen to viewers comments. This may be the last SCD I watch.
I said I wouldn't vote when Heather & Brian went out but I've since voted for Lisa & Brendan and Tom & Camilla. I hope the people who are supporting but not voting re-consider.

I wouldn't watch an Austin/Rachel final either.
I wonder how many of us there are out there?This series has gone on too long. They should finish a week early and have a three person final.

I'm curious - why? Austin has been in potentially dangerous situations twice, but has been saved by the public - surely that's demonstrative of his popularity?
I would watch an Austin/Rachel final as I don't mind either of them winning. I don't think the judges will orchestrate this though. Lisa seemed to be their favourite on Saturday so who knows!
My vote is going to Lisa. She is my favourite of the remaining four, but all of the petty, negative comments directed to her on here have made me want to actually pick up the phone and vote for her.
Why must Christine's votes go to anybody else?

I voted for Christine and Jodie and Cherie and John and Austin when he was in danger.
My vote will probably be going to Austin in fact it will definately be going to Austin I also think Lisa has improved a lot which I like but still cant quite warm to her.....however I may also vote tactically next week to try and ensure that Tom is in the dance off as he is the one I definately DONT want to win. I dont think I could bear his 'smug' face on tour if he was announced as the champion, it would make me weep.
In fact it shows me how little I care about his series that there are more people I dont want to win than win. Last year I obviously desperately wanted Gethin to win but was quite happy to see Alesha take the crown and if she had been a slightly better dancer then Letitia. The only one I definately didnt want to win didnt so that was okay.
