Wobbly Picture on Grundig CRT W70-2030
I have a 6 year old Grundig (aka Currys/Dixons) W70-2030 CRT TV. Up until a couple of months ago, all was well but it has started to develop a very wobbly picture.
I use a Humax Digital PVR Freeview box, no Sky or cable. When I view DVDs there seems to be the same problem, so is it safe to presume it's a fault with the TV? Likewise analogue and digital channels are both affected - though some channels seem to be worse than others. I know I sound a bit blonde but I want to be sure it's not a problem with the aerial. I have checked all SCART connections and they seem secure and have reinstalled the software on the Freeview box, to no avail. Anything else I should consider? I do think it's probably a fault with the telly but I'd be grateful for experts' views. TYIA. |

As the fault is showing on TV, recordings and DVD playback, then yes it would be fairly reasonable to assume that the fault lies with the TV. When you say 'wobbly', do you mean a flicker, or something else?
