Would an all-female final not be better publicity?
Lorelei Lee

As far as I can recall, female finalists have been somewhat thinner on the ground than their male counterparts throughout SCD, and there's never yet been an all-female final.

So I put it to the conspiracy theorists - if the aim is to rig things for maximum publicity, would it not be better to champion Lisa and Rachel's causes so that the press officers can splash 'first all-female final' over everything?

This in no way reflects my opinions on who should be in the final (partly because I don't have any at this point)...

Denise and Jill were final two.

Different from more female finalists though innit?

and sorry Tissy, I had forgotten Denise was the same series as Jill, I thought she went out third in that series - but it was still a three-person final that included a man, not a two-woman duel to the death.

I still think this is a valuable angle that anyone who really is conspiring to produce better viewing figures could work to their advantage.

I would be embarassing if it produced the lowest ever vote, though. (I'm not saying it would, but neither surviving girl seems to have been energising the voters.)

I always like to see at least one girl in the final to even things up. The final two in SCD3 and 4 was a bit dull because it was just two sportsmen and then the same all over again.
