Well I like Lisa - I think she is nice.

Zoe, Jill and Colin were the best, Rachel is not there.

As far as heresy goes, I never liked Christine all that grinning got on my wick, her dance style came over a bit crude.

I didn't rate Mark R at all. The only dance of his I actually enjoyed was the Argentine Tango.

I don't find Austin at all attractive. I find Tom more attractive. And I don't find Tom smug.

I think Jodie's Waltz and Rachel's foxtrot scores should be swapped.

I don't get why Matthew Cutler is so fancied. And I don't like Vincent.

I find Brendan Cole really funny.

And Bruce makes me laugh.

Zoe Ball was one of the best dancers they've ever had on Strictly and I absoloutely adore her jive.

I didn't rate Zoe Ball and can't understand why everyone puts her up there with the 'good' dancers.

Austin's waxed chest is horrible

I found Christine irritating and a bit dull.

Here goes then - brace yourselves!

1. What's this so-called journey Lisa's been on? She was getting high marks for her Rhumba and American Smooth and she performed those right at the start. She's just been hit and miss all series.

2. I believe John winning would have been absolutely wonderful and I would have savoured every moment. And no I wouldn't have felt one iota of guilt for the 'better dancers' for all the hard work and effort that would have been wasted - after all, they are the ones that keep trotting out the standard 'it's just for fun' and 'the main thing is to enjoy the experience' lines on ITT.

3. Craig and his worshippers often confuse 'honesty' and 'telling it how it is' with plain rudeness and nastiness.

I'm with you on that!

Also although I loved Matt's Salsa and thought it was the one he should have had 40 for instead of the waltz, I thought the shimmying was quite repulsive!

Thank goodness someone else has been brave enough to criticise Gethin! I feel courageous enough to do so now as well

Whilst I preferred him to Matt, he was nothing special on the dancefloor. Alesha was untouchable last year, the praise surrounding the boys was mere hype in an attempt to keep the competition alive.

I thought Matt DA's waltz deserved its 40. It was fabulous.

Gethin was nowt special, especially after his 'breakthrough' when he started sliding around on his knees and gurning at the audience.

lol there are more of us you know, we just got beaten into submission last year. I found him nothing special and frankly if he had a face like a bag of spanners, most people would have thought his dancing was nowt special as well.

Ramps could actually dance ballroom.

Mathew Cutler isn't gods gift to women (don't hurt me, don't hurt me)

What Sid said - especially number 3.

And .. (oh what the hell, noone here speaks to me anyway) - Len is my favourite judge

Ramps could dance ballroom , though for some reason he was given the idea he was poor .
Len said he didn't like the zig zag in their AS and gave it 7 and the myth was established . Yet Len loves anyone else zigzagging !

Is it heresy to say Len is not consistent in his comments or scores . ?

Alesha , as good as she was ,and rightly the winner , really didn't improve much from Show 1 . Her footwork was always scrappy .

Denise Lewis was better than Jill Halfpenny.

Now that is heresy !

Denise had extensive ballet training , but it was Jill who was questioned at length about dance training .

Ooh , Most of the 10s given are undeserved .

Also Louisa was better than Rachel , just need a bit of maturity .

I too thought Denise was better than Jill Halfpenny, and I never understood the fuss about Zoe - I thought she was a very average dancer.

Mark's ballroom wasn't great - nothing to do with Len's comments; watch his foxtrot!

To say Alesha's footwork was always scrappy is just silly. Even Len commented on looking at her feet and seeing no mistakes in her foxtrot, for e.g.

And Denise did not have extensive ballet training. She attended ballet classes when she was growing up - there's a difference. Jill was taught Latin American dance in stage school - somehow I think that gives her more of an advantage in a ballroom/latin dance competition.

QUOTE]

his foxtrot was poor - mostly because the choreography was way to diificult as Arelene pointed out. However he got 36 for his waltz, 36 for his VW, 32 for his tango and 34 for his QS so the constant "oooh he wasn't very good at ballroom" doesn't stand up when you look at the scores

The weakness in Tom's posture in the ballroom dances, which was criticised by the judges, applied eqaully to Mark Ramprakesh, yet he was never criticised for it.

Yes he was, most of the way through the series

Never?

I thought they went on and on about his posture after the Foxtrot week, ironically when Ramps said jokingly in the training 'I am the king of the ballroom!'???
