Fab posts you two!

Brian's eyebrows scare me.
I think Goughie deserved to win.
Alesha was nowhere near being the best dancer Strictly has ever had.
Kenny Logan in a kilt was one of the sexiest things I've ever seen on Strictly.

&...I think Matthew Cutler is bland.

Something of a heresy on this forum if nowhere else: Alesha's Cha Cha was indeed fabulous and deserved all the praise the judges gave her for it.

And Penny's 'Boots' dance was also better than Gabby's samba (agreed with the judges on that one, too )

my go...

I loathe Jill Halfpenny's jive

hate the dress, hate the way her feet look, hate the dance.

(That genuinely shocked me, haha!)

I don't really like Jill's jive either. I can see that it's technically very good but I don't enjoy watching it nearly as much as some of the other dances.

When I first saw Matt D's showdancw, I thought it was better than Alesha's, however having watched it since, I have changed my mind. Like Austin's Paso, it flattered to deceive. (He was more of a prop for Flavia, rather than a dancer)

I've got a cracker...

I enjoyed Colin and Erin's puppet dance.

If Darren Gough never appeared on another "Special" it would still be too soon for me.

Has anybody else noticed the faces Austen Healey pulls when he is dancing. I honestly thought he had constipation or a stuck poo when dancing his tango and as for the paso - w e l l - as my friend Jeni from Devon would say - never seen anything so cheesey in my life.

Is it heresy to say I don't like Boag E - I wouldn't want to meet her on a dark night - she is far too competitive and am I right in thinking it was she who broke Austen's fingers?

Okay, time to admit it now there's a place to,

I LOATHED Alesha and Matt's show dance last year. That dress, that song, that opening...

Heresy? Okay then... when Brian and Kristina dance together I LOATHE it. Flashing teeth, eyebrows, hips and even hair, they are frantic and cheesy and flashy and awful. She was good with John though, and Brian seemed to really dance on Sunday with the other girls.

Oh I am so with you on that. What on earth was that dance move they did with the splits thing, lifting her up by her ankle? Nasty!!

Cheers Jukejive - they did that twice! Nasty is right - so glad you posted - I felt pretty alone on that one!

They were obviously alone in a training room when they came up with that one.

Eveyyone seems to go on about Tom being smug - I don't think he is, but I DO think Austin is. And I don't think Rachel is as shy as everybody's making her out to be, either. And another thing......I wish Vincent would choreograph a ball room dance that doesn't include the "cutesy" head on Vincent's shoulder thing - it's been done time and time again!

Ooooh, ditto to this. I could not find Mark attractive at all and I wished he would cover himself up.

Here are mine (though I'm a relative noob, only having been introduced to SCD from series 5):

I like Rachel, and don't think she is void of personality; it seems the girl can't do anything right according to this forum.

I also like Lisa.

I don't like Camilla.

Matt di Angelo was my favourite contestant last year, but his waltz was not a 40, and his showdance was not really aesthetically pleasing to watch. (He should have got the 40 for his salsa imo.)

I think Matthew Cutler is very bland, and his choreography unexciting.

I found Christine irritating and did not find her lovable/endearing at all.

I did not think John was entertaining either and didn't really catch on with his supposed wonderful personality.

I don't think Tom is smug.

I thought Gethin's 'breakthrough' was rather staged and overhyped.

I like Vincent's choreography, but he often makes it too saccharine and OTT - it feels almost a bit too intimate for us to be watching.

Great thread, btw. I'm sure to think of more in the meantime.

Right..a few for starters.
Vincent is becoming a bore..hats off to his choreography though.
Ola is a sullen little trollope, not every bloke fancies her.
Erin is attractive and intelligent..I like Kiwi girls.
Bruce is a legend and holds the show together.
Tess is a vacuous waste of space..but every show needs one.
Tom seems a decent guy to me.
Brendon has not mellowed, he is still an ***hole.
This year is not the " best ever final four ".
Darren Gough was vastly over-rated..but that seems to be generally accepted ?

I didn't want Jill Halfpenny to win Strictly, I wanted Denise to, as I liked her dancing better!

Colin Jackson should have won Strictly too, he was WAY more talented than Darren Gough!

Louisa was better than Emma Bunton by miles and I think Emma went further was because she was a Spice Girl.

Tom Chambers gets on my nerves for some reason, but i don't know why. He is, however, a good dancer.

For a while this series, I actually LIKED James Jordan!

Finally, I think Darren Bennett wears a wig!

There! Phew!
