Luxor or Humax? Advice please!

Hi there

My Thomson DT16300 DTR has just given up the ghost and had to be taken away in a big white van after sticking itself in permanent standby mode.

I now have the option of down-pricing to a Luxor (LUXOR TUTV2500) or upgrading to a Humax (HUMAX PVR9150T) and just wondered what the thinking was on these two models, as I seem to always get more common sense on DigiSpy than from asking the shop assistants!

One thing that annoyed me with the Thomson was the fact that the fan was loud, but moreso, that the hard disk was permanently spinning, so a model that doesn't do that would be an improvement.

Anyway, any advice would be much appreciated please - many thanks.
