Wondering if anyone can help me with a problem I am having with my phone.

Today my phone randomly deleted all my inbox, email inbox, blackberry chat conversations and call logs..
In my options, the messages are set to be kept 'forever'. I have lots of memory, I only have taken three photos..
Does anyone know why this could have happened and how to make sure it doesn't happen again?

Another little issue is the screen light.. Ive been told it dims and lightens with a sensor if you are somewhere bright/dark, but my screen dims randomly.. is this normal and can it be changed?

Any help would be great..
Thank you,
Cleo.

This happened to me when I used Outlook to download my emails .....everything that downloaded onto Outlook was wiped from my phone. I never found a fix for it, I just don't use Outlook anymore

There is another possible explanation. If the handset cannot contact the server for an extended period, it will assume you have stopped using the service.

Re: The Outlook problem, just set Outlook to leave a copy on the server.
