Buy a sim free or get a network pay as you go and unlock? HELP!
I am after a new phone.
A mate of mine has recommended the Samsung G600. So far so good. Now on play.com you can get it as a vodaphone pay as you go for £79.99 or sim free for £159.99 which is double. Now if I get the £79.99 vodaphone pay as you go one, can't I get it unlocked for like £10-£20 meaning I've paid a maximum of £100.00? Can't I then use it on any network? If so, what's the point of paying an extra £60 for a sim-free one? Or am I missing something? |

The other difference is that the Vodafone handset will have the Vodafone firmware and Vodafone branding.
Some firmware versions of this phone are very buggy, I don't know which, but I would check before buying. |
