Just found out if you toast Taleggio cheese it really really really really really smells. It tastes devine especially in a fish finger and brown sauce sarnie but DON'T TOAST THE CHEESE.
3 hours later and have aired the flat it still smells like unwashed cheese hot feet and my hands honk as well even after a bar of soap.

dam

but the sarnie was so nice

I suppose it's the temperature that counts. I use taleggio in a Three Cheese Risotto recipe that I found once and there isn't any smell problem, but then it isn't being toasted.

I like to think I'm fairly broad-minded but a taleggio, fish finger and brown sauce sarnie crosses the line in so many ways!

Taleggio's good mixed up with sauteed mushrooms on a pastry base and baked until the pastry's cooked and the cheese is melted. You could try replacing the mushrooms with fish fingers...
