I honestly believe this has been planned for AGES, I do think the death thing was a double bluff.. I say at one point an idea to kill K may have floated around, ideas always get thrown around in long term story conferences but I think this was planned and they just fed a few false rumours...nothing big or major, just a few fake facts...and why not, you have to keep some things a surprise!!

Clearly they need to up their game when it comes to the MS posters though, right?

I guess I feel this announcement doesn't change anything, it still doesn't change the way their relationship was portrayed this week, or the last two weeks, still doesn't change that after this week we don't see them until practically the reveal, right? Still doesn't change the fact that I don't think James is going to be on the show for much longer.... so essentially, nothing has changed!!

Just because JP has to make a choice doesn't mean the choice isn't going to be obvious and clear!! Bit like Sarah last year...... to be honest, Craig turning Sarah down made the JP/C love story even more powerful in my eyes.

JP turning down K after K gives up the church (which means so much to him ) will maybe not be quite as moving as K is not as fully rounded a character as Sarah but it will still have power.

Triangles are the bread and butter of soap but can be done very well.

But it is your total right to be annoyed and upset, I would say try to not tie yourself into too many knots over this, I really think he was never going to die....think that would have WAY to much for JP to deal with, and not because he was sooo in love but the guilt would have been pretty tough to handle.
