Little Mo Hasn't Suffered Enough?
UGH I cringed when I read about her new storyline. Kacey Ainsworth is one hell of an actress when her character is in turmoil, I admit it, but don't the writers know how to handle Little Mo as a happy, normal character? We either get insipid storylines about a mouse in the flat, or she gets brutalised again. I don't know if I'll be able to watch.

yep, that's the one. awful, isn't it? can't they spread the misery around a bit, rather than heaping it all on her?

Thanks, Im puzzled though Quote:
"Mo will be raped by a close friend, somebody she thought she could trust,"
How can this be a close friend if the scenes are to be screened in December, and the person is a new character?Quote:
The attacker is rumoured to be a new character who befriends Mo after arriving in the Square. The scenes will be shown in December.

New character? I hope it's a new character they've already shown.. like Shelie perhaps? We really find out that Shelie is a man. After her annoyance of Gavin playing his loud music she breaks into Mo's house, get's sexually frustrated and rapes Little Mo.
Then.. half way through Shelie's plot, the original actress of Shelie will no longer be able to play the part, so they higher Big Brother 4's Lisa to do it! What do you think everyone? A+ plot or what?

Seeing as Kacey Ainsworth had a miscarriage last year, I would imagine it'll be quite harrowing for her to play the storyline of being pregnant and thinking about having an abortion.

This storyline is just sick. The people behind this have perverted minds.

they're probably just doing it to get ratings up again, as EE was at it's peak when the trevour and little mo storyline was going on, so they want to have the same effect again.

I love little mo shes a really good character who gets played well by Kacey, but like one person said above, I think Kacey could get disturbed with this storyline, (possibly) I know its only acting, but she had a miscarriage last year.
I think EE could of landed this on another character like Sam or something, who doesnt really get a major storyline ever. |

To be perfectly honest, they need to spread the big storylines across the Eastenders characters. Pretty much all of the Eastenders characters are useless except for Kat, Alfie, Little Mo, Lisa and Phil lately. Because, the same big storylines for the same people.
I wish something would happen with that Frierra family, they are the worst when it comes to storylines. I know there new.. but, something needs to happen soon.. like maybe the Dad could be a mass-murderer? |

They chose Little Mo because she is a Supermarket-Woman's-Magazine favourite - a "real" woman who females can identify with rather than the "glamour" girls like Kat and Sam whose lives bear no relation to reality what so ever.

Sam struts around with no visible means of support (money I mean) sleeping with anything that moves. Kat and Kate are little more than Gangster's Molls. Kate even gave up a good career to be with that superannuated skinhead |

There's a certain degree of unrealistic behaviour/lifestyles in many of the characters...I think Little Mo is one of the more realistic, but you can't really compare considering their characters have such different personalities and "objectives" - Little Mo wants to be the housewife type, Kat and Sam are entirely different, but all of them represent a certain grouping of people on some level.
I do agree that Little Mo is more believable, but only just, and you can't deny there are people like Sam and Kat out there... The employment thing is another thing altogether, but Sam does have a job at the club remember... |

Originally posted by FBI I'm more talking about their attitude, the way they dress, personal style etc. I can tell you round here, theres not many as frumpy and old fashioned as Mo at her age. I find Mo one of the least realistic characters in the show. East end woman are just not like her. If that's true I'm amazed. Only Sharon has a proper job although her wealth is never really satisfactorily explained (like Den's and Phil's). Sam struts around with no visible means of support (money I mean) sleeping with anything that moves. Kat and Kate are little more than Gangster's Molls. Kate even gave up a good career to be with that superannuated skinhead Sharon isnt wealthy. She owns a business. She probably does what most business people do, borrow!! Also she lost her mum, so probably got money from that. I dont see her as wealthy, just normal. Sam is the manager of the club. Kate was supposed to be a long serving copper. Kat works in the pub but she lives at home. What money would she need? |

I'm just very dissapointed with the spread of characters getting good storylines. I know they might be good, but we were promised the Frierra family to the big next family with storylines. But, to be honest they seemed very low supporting cast. I think there's always a problem bringing in big familys at once in Soaps.

If they must have a toyah style rape why not have it happen to Kareena?
She hasn't had a good storyline yet and it would be more liekly- date rape would be a good topical one which has not before ben covered. |

I dont think thats this story line is a very good one i mean Little Mo had already been raped by Trevor so this again is a very poo EE storyline.....isnt there an old man coming into the soap @ crimbo...hes about 79 or summet surely he cant be the raipest!
Secondly Sam is forever going on holiday...shes in the programme for about 2 wks then wow she off on her hols again! Ever noticed that...i mean if that club pays that good i think we should all get a job there!! And thirdly...last wks episodes with Lisa drinking behind the bar @ the club...we all know that your not alloud to drink while your @ work on the bar.....and how much of Sharon's profits has Lisa consumed this last week!?! If that were real life she would no longer have a job!!!!!! |
