Upgraded from a 32" to a new 42" yesterday and it allows a PAP or PIP mode.
However I can't seem to change channel or input for the seperate stream. Both pictures changes.

I haven't used this feature before, so is there something I am doing wrong or does not all tvs allow seperate streams?

You should be able to change the source for the PIP,
When I select PIP on my Samsung, it has a menu which has options to change source, size and location of the PIP.
Source being, Freeview, Satellite, DVD, Xbox or Analogue TV.

Shall have to have a fiddle round laters then.
All that happened is that a Yellow highlighter box appeared around the active screen which could be change but no menu.

Do you mean the menu auto-appeared on screen, or did it appear in the standard tv menu screens?

Different model and makes will handle this differently, as you haven't said what model your tv is, its difficult for people to answer specifically how your tv works!

The above poster was right, there is an menu in the normal tv setup menus to change the input. Shame I can't use it though on HDMI.

Cheers, I now know what to do.
