Weren't Big Brother going to be 'tougher this year than ever before'? It doesn't look like it to me. Okay, maybe they've been slightly less lenient over tasks than last year but other than that I can't see what's so harsh. The house is gorgeous, not nearly so cold and clinical as last year and they get nice treats sometimes. Once again, they've been treated to the hot tub (earlier than last year's housemates were - the tub didn't make an appearance till Wk 6) and now rumours are surfacing about secret rooms like a Sauna Room and a Games Room! Tougher than ever? I don't think so.

I never said that. But for what it is meant to be - a 'back to basics' experience, and in comparison with last year's house, this years BBhouse is a comfortable and attractive house.

There is no doubt the newly designed house is 10x better than last years. I remember reading in an article, one of the dutch creators reviewing all the BB houses. He said that our house was very poorly designed and that it was not properly thought out unlike all the others that were bulit. It was no coincidence that it also took the least amount of time to build. This years house, although the decor has been vastly improved, there are stll very limited camera positions available. While you may think it would look odd with mirrors all the way round the house, you get far better camera shots of the house mates.
