Was flicking through the TV book this afternoon when i came across the TV Times Awards 2008 feature.

Lee Mead won a TVTimes award last year - he got the 'Favourite Newcomer' award! I would have thought 'Favourite Newcomer' was more appropriate for Jodie than 'Favourite Reality Star'.

Cheryl Cole won the best newcomer award this year.

Really? How strange! I wouldn't exactly call her a newcomer. She would have been better placed in the 'Reality TV Star' category (as Simon Cowell was).

I still fail to understand how Simon Cowell can be described as a 'Reality TV Star'. He's a promoter, a producer, a judge, whatever. He's a star in his own eyes, maybe, but those performing for him and earning him money are really the stars.

Thats brilliant!!! And very much deserved, Jodie is fantastic and she is my favourite reality star by a mile!!!! Well done to the lovely Jodie Prenger!
