Kelly is an excellent dancer so I don't see her as the short straw. If it's the top 3 from the current series, it may or may not be Brendan. If it isn't, maybe Anton, will have the pleasure. He did partner the winner of CIN and he could do an American Smooth with Kelly.

That's why I asked...I'm not sure that he is.
From what I've read Kelly has been taking dancing lessons at least some of the time since she left SCD, plus she danced on the Dirty Dancing show and she's just released a SCD fitness video with Flavia, so I'd say it is probably more a case of learning a routine rather than starting to learn a dance from scratch. I think she's got as good a chance as anyone.

IF (and I think it's a big if) Brendan is still in the comp with Lisa you'd assume he'd dance with her in the Crimbo special. The 22nd would def rule Brian out to dance with KB because Brian's in Sacramento, California with the DWS tour on the 22nd. So yeah as mentioned earlier maybe it would be Anton with KB if Brendan's all booked up with LS. Anton has the time I'd assume?
If it's true that I've read that it's being filmed on the Mon 15th, that really is so unfair for whatever two will be in the final. Why on earth couldn't they film it after on the Mon 22nd, when everybody is relaxed?

I only posted it was the 15th because someone said that on another thread. Last year it was filmed on the monday after the quarter finals as Letitia was eliminated on the Saturday and was interviewed by Claudia by film on ITT on the monday as they were filming the xmas special.
Always felt it added fuel to the fire for the semi's myself as Gethin nearly won and Alesha and Matt were not in the final two, but thats over and done with, and we have far too many consiparcy theories this year to deal with.

It could be on the 22nd this year. The reason it has been done before the final for the last two years is because the final was too close to Christmas to fit a special in afterwards. In 2005 though it was filmed the Monday after the final, and in 2004 it was a live show with a phone vote, I think a few days before Christmas but definitely after the series two final.

Not to add more fuel (just for myself I didn't really like Gethin at all, and not fussed about Matt either), but I thought after seeing Xmas that Flavia and Matt C had both thought they wouldn't bother putting much effort into it at the expense of their semi final routines, and Camilla had taken it more seriously and possibly that was the reason why Gethin was below par the week of the semi. It was very noticeable how much more seriously Camilla took it than all the other pros that took part.

That's a really good point - it makes so much sense!
Who from the eliminated male pros are tall enough to dance with Kelly? I'm thinking it would have to be Ian?
Hope Jill is doing a Christmas Samba -ive always thought that was a forgotten dance of hers comparet to the jive -and every bit as good imo. 
Yes, I'm hoping it will be a Samba, pity they can't do Paso really but that wouldn't be very christmassy!

I dont actually think they will do a Jive though - I think Jill should have waited for the Xmas special to 'reappear' -would have made more of an impact! When will the special be shown -Xmas day?

Already tried, but there are no tickets available this year. They are reserving them all for those people who had tickets for one of the main shows but ended up not getting in. Plus the usual millions of production guests of course.

Matt DiA can't do the Christmas Special - his in Loot from 11 December - I got the impression he was asked though.
For me personally I can't get excited about the Christmas special with no Gethin or Ramps apart from possibly Jill there is no one in it I would particularly want to see dance again! I am including this years last four in that too! My opinion only
