What is the point of having Kelly dancing with anyone but Brendan or even dancing at all? Seems a waste of a place to me.

true they should maybe invited Kelly next year when Brendan might be free. Why dont they let Colin come back? He was meant to be doing it anyway, or even Austin it seems unfair that poor Austin doesnt get to do it

It does seem a bit like "ladies night" but im still looking forward to watching it.

FWIW a while back Kelly was on some TV programme talking about the xmas special, I believe, and she said she would dance with someone else if Brendan went far in the competition. Alesha on the other hand was pretty certain when she was interviewed that she'd be dancing with Matthew and no-one else in the xmas special, and this was long before he was eliminated.

I think the BBC should rethink their line up and have Austin and Erin instead of Kelly and whichever pro she's been assigned. Kelly could then do the dance to the invited singer with one of the pros, or even with someone like Darren Gough or Ramps (if they are tall enough). Having her on the show with a different partner competing with a group of winners/semifinalists just seems pointless. IMHO of course.

I will only watch if they have Austin back but I cant see that happening. I am not interested otherwise........love Alesha but not that fussed.......Jill I will see on tour and Kelly no thanks the others I am bored with already.

Actually I hope Alesha will not do a cha-cha again. Or Jill doing the jive. It will kill the show for me - too predictable.

I agree with someone who posted on the last page - the Christmas Special should be a light hearted and funny event, with dancers like Kate, Fiona, John and Chris Parker etc, rather than a serious competition between some of the best dancers ever.

I dont know about Jill but Alesha is doing the VW not cha cha.
To be honest the only ones im watching for is Alesha/Matt and Tom. I dont give two hoots about any of the others. But i'm sure they well all dance really well and it'll be a tight competition.

Well, I've ordered the tour DVD for my daughter for Christmas, so we can always watch that on Christmas night.

There has to be some Strictly on Christmas Day. My son grumbling and swearing is part of our Christmas tradition.

i don't have strong likes and dislikes about people I don't know. Some TV personalities are more to my taste than others but I wouldn't be nasty about them.

I too thought Kelly Brook brought glamour and elegance to comp. I can't wait to see her dancing again. I love Ian but don't think he has the sexiness for Kelly. She needs someone like Brian or even James.

I have no love for Kelly Brook why should I ?? If you think using the word lumbered is nasty then you obviously havent read some of the other stuff that goes on.
I just dont see the point of her being on my telly, what does she actually do ?? Actress NO Comedienne NO pretty face and body YES serial girlfriend YES I dont see the point of her on the television and as I am a viewer I am entitled to think that if I want. Ill mannered, not usually I say my pleases and thankyous.....spitefull......oh yes and what a joy it can sometimes be but I think of a lot more spiteful things to say than 'lumbered' immature ?....on occasion but I dont think this fits the bill.........
