I loved those 2 old hecklers the best, and animal who played the drums, he was cool.

Think this deserves the bizarre thread of the day award.

Beaker was brilliant! He also reminded me of Les (show him the chives!) off Vic Reeves Big Night out.
Can't remember if he had a row of biros in his lab coat pocket!!

*Clears throat* sing along everyone!

It's time to play the music
It's time to light the lights
t's time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight.

It's time to put on makeup
It's time to dress up right
It's time to raise the curtain on the Muppet Show tonight.

Why do we always come here
I guess we'll never know
It's like a kind of torture
To have to watch the show

And now let's get things started
Why don't you get things started
It's time to get things started
On the most sensational inspirational celebrational Muppetational
This is what we call the Muppet Show!

(Gonzo blows his trumpet)

Am I right in thinking that Jim Henson also created Fraggle Rock?

So while we are on this rather off topic subject of kids TV can i give an honourable mention to...

Emily's cat Bagpuss
The most Important, ta dah
The most Beautiful, ta dah
The most Magical, tah dah
Saggy old cloth cat in the whole wide world

I wasn't singing, think it must have been the mice on the marvelous, mechanical mouse organ.
