Chatting to a stunned Lee, she sensationally revealed she considered Kate to be a "flirt" and admitted she did "not get on with her at all." She opened up with the salvo: "Kate is getting on a lot of people's nerves. Alison and Katie... think I'm a threat because I get on with Sandy and Alex." ....."The way Kate deals with it is by flirting," she continued. "She's working her way round the boys. When she knows someone likes her, she flirts with them, sitting there with her tits hanging out... that's how she uses it to get at them. I don't get on with her at all. ..."

What ever way you look at it, she's perceptive that Jade.

Jade was the first to see through Kate. Lee then stated that Kate had also been flirting with him. She then worked her way through all the blokes in the House.

I think you are trying to tease me because you know I did not watch much of the first 2 weeks.
I thought about this and the post is slagging off Alex,Jade and Lee-and by implication it is praising Kate which is a first -from a known Alex fan-makes me suspicious Watson.
But the clincher was the reference to Norks-not very likely in the Weapons of Mass Distraction stakes is it-especially from Jade.

Personally, I think its more than clear that Jade was right and/or Lee, whichever of them noticed first. "Flirt" is actually a rather kind way of putting it in my opinion. :sleep:

flirting is just part of the game plan surely, they work out who they think is the most popular housemate and flirt just to keep in with him/her

What would be the point of expending so much tactical planning on flirting to get someone 'on your side', and then voting them out ?

Surely if you successfully duped someone by flirting with them so that they were on your side, you would want to keep them in

I always understood Jade was an expert at knowing how to manipulate people (whether knowingly or unknowingly). She would glean some information from person X ..... tell person Y about 80% of what was said, add a few bits and pieces of what she thought about it ... then go back to person X saying about 80% of what had been said ...etc etc etc

She was very clever - most of what she said she did admit to ... as then she was always free to say "I would not say that to you behind your back, I would say it to you" .... and she did, just omitting a few vital and pertinant details

It relies, of course, on the person you're flirting with being too much of a decent person to act in such an underhand treacherous way themselves.

I always thought Kate would end up with Jonny Reagan, in the end it seemed those two were together the most, having the most fun etc, and look who the final two were! but it just goes to show that no matter how good you try and look in that house, the person you think the worst of seems to get the furthest on the outside.

Isn't it far more likely that a mixed group of 20-somethings stuck together in a house for weeks on end will inevitably flirt with each other because that is what human beings do.

No, Kate's behaviour is unique. You only have to look at the other BB houses to see that. There is no other example of someone flirting like that with another contestant and then nominating them relentlessly - every single week!

Hmmm... I know that meanings, understandings and definitions of words change... so presumably I am to understand that the word 'Flirt' has very derogatory connotations these days....

I used to think flirting a fun activity that two parties participated in a mutual understanding of the 'rules'...

On the other hand, I recall, there was another name ascribed to a type of activity.... praticed by certain females .... that I was brought up not to emulate.... they were called PTs (Pr*ck Teasers)....

By the same token I get very irritated by the use of the words sex, love, romance, etc. as if they mean the same thing..... I think there are a lot of confused people out there.....

but it is the public who have the final say in who goes and who stays, and if they think there is any chance of romance between two housemates they invairably keep them, they also seem to keep the bitchy loud mouthed ones who like causing rows, thats why it was so odd that Cam won this year.
