Just got my Xperia X1 and a bit disappointed really - but might be because I've never used Windows Mobile before.

Just a few things I don't get/like which someone might have suggestions on -

I've connected to my WiFi connection, yet everytime I actually connect with Opera, Messenger or Email it says I'm connecting to 'Contract WAP'. It's definitely got my WiFi connection on there though because I can see it on the main screen under 'Vodafone UK'.

Web browsing isn't 'brilliant'! It seems to reformat many sites rather than displaying it natively. Sites I've seen this happen - youtube, google, ps3fanboy. Digitalspy seems fine though.

I've downloaded and installed Flash Lite 3 from a site for the X1 which was a .cab file, yet I still can't get flash videos to work. Says I need flash funnily enough.

In Opera, when I go to 'search' under the address bar, when I start typing on the keyboard, the bar keeps going away mid typing. I'm definitely not pressing 'ok' or anything, it just goes off.

Not sure whether to keep the phone yet. Might try getting used to it in the next 5 or so days before making my mind up. No idea what I'd go for next if I didn't like the iPhone and don't like this one.

Didn't get it though because when I tried it in the shop I ended up not being that impressed with it for what I would use it for.

I'm taking back nearly everything I said about this phone now. Getting the hang of it slowly and started over after a hard reset.
For some reason it's better this time around - when I had the phone I didn't have to calibrate the phone or set anything up which leads me to believe the phone wasn't reset after going through testing by the supplier.

Flash is great, runs brilliantly smooth on Opera.
Still having slight issues with youtube if I try viewing it in it's native display on Opera.
Took the HTC Touch HD panel off though as it kept freezing... so now using a free one from SonyEricssons site which looks nice and works like a charm - with a working weather system!

Will be a keep after all I think.

Now to buy a memory card...

i got a 4GB card free with mine from 02. I thought all of them came with one as standard.
