There's a bit of a debate at work at the moment about the correct pronounciation of the aforementioned chain. They always capitalise all three letters which suggests that maybe it should be called A-S-K, but the general concensus is that it's called ask. We called the local branch and the person that answered did so by saying "ask", but then who knows, it may vary from staff member to staff member....

So how about you lot? Anyone know if ASK stands for anything? Their website is useless! Apologies for the really quite boring nature of this thread but it's turned in to a bit of a mission...

I've always known it as "Ask". Don't think it stands for anything.

They do nice food, though.

Funny that, I feel the same about the one in Oxford.

I hate these italian restaurants, its costs 5p to make a pizza and about 7p to make a bowl of pasta, and don't get me started on peasant food like risotto, such a rip off.

Teehee.
Stop it though... you will only upset OP at not following instructions properly.

I'll give you 5p and you see what sort of pizza you can make.

I wasn't that impressed when I went. The food was bland.
