When I lived with my mum and dad, they used to buy some drinks specifically as Christmas drinks, so they were forever associated with that time of year. Things like cherry or apricot brandy, tia maria, and Rose's lime cordial for some reason.
I only ever buy what I like, AND will actually get drunk!
What are your Christmas drinks?

I usually buy a bottle of port too!

Madeira - kind of a fortified wine. Very nice indeed as a post-dinner digestif.

Baileys and brandy, I love that extra kick the brandy gives to the Baileys but for some reason I only drink it at Christmas.

I can't think of anything we ONLY have at Christmas. I do associate ginger wine with Christmas, but I do drink it all winter.

Kir Royale = champagne with a tiny bit of blackcurrant licqueur in the bottom of the glass.

Tea. I never drink tea any other times during the year, but I love a cuppa with my Christmas dinner.

Oh yes, I had this for the first - and only - time one Christmas a few years ago, and it was lovely, much nicer than Bucks Fizz.

I always have Baileys in my house at Christmas, and usually a glass of Bucks Fizz at work and/or round friends' to wish everyone a Merry Yuletide

When I was a kiddie, we always had Babycham, Asti Spumante, Tawny Port, Guinness, Cinzano and Martini Bianco stocked up for my parents and visiting relatives, and on Christmas Day, we had Pomagne with our dinner, and even I was allowed some at the ripe old age of 8 or 9 (hic)

And when I was working in pubs, I had to dust off the bottle of Advocaat that had been sat on the shelf all year as everyone seemed to want one in the run up to Christmas

I tend to buy

Chivas Regal
Remy Martin
Jameson
Smirnoff Vodka

I buy these every christmas and once they are gone they are gone. I might buy one other bottle of whiskey in the year but other than that we drink wine as an everyday beverage. Welll not everyday but you know what I mean.

What are your Christmas drinks?
This is mixed with the Advocaat and lemonade to make a decent snowball.

Drinks I associate with Christmas but some times have at other times also include......

Babysham
Cherry B
Mathers Black Beer (mixed with lemonade to make a Sheffield Stout)
Ruby Wine
Malibu
Sherry (mainly used for the trifle)
Port
Pony (the drink with a kick!)
Clan Dew (don't know if it's still made)

and as many others have already mentioned.....
Baileys
Advocaat
Bucks Fizz

Hic!

I usually only drink Bailey's during Christmas cos I'd drink it every day if it weren't for the price and the fact I don't like being drunk anyway. I usually get Lambrini or something similar and cider for New Year's Eve too.

Bailey's just reminds me of Christmas so much, I remember my mum buying it once when I was about 14 and could barely take a sip from the glass. Now I swig it down like water.

My Wife, who dosen't drink very much anyway, always likes a bottle of Baileys as a stocking filler, and I always have one , small glass, every year. It's about as much as I could cope with!!
