Im watching SCD Dancing on WATCH tv now and just saw his jive with Jill ...what happened to him?

Or am I wrong is this the same person he looks familiar

Darren is not fat, end of.

He is by no means fat, but he is a little bigger than he was back then but fat??? no way! Maybe he has bulked up muscle wise?

I certainly don't think he's fat. I remember seeing a training clip of him & Letitia last year on ITT when he said that he'd put on a couple of inches on his chest, perhaps he's being going to the gym a lot. He was very slim before.

Not meaning to be rude to the lovely celeb ladies, but they have been giving him *ahem* slightly larger ladies than the pint sized Lilia, most of his partners have been on the curvy natural side sizewise

Jill, Gloria, Emma, Letitia and Jessie.

It wouldn't surprise me if he needed to bulk up for the lifts as SCD is probably his main income now rather than just dancing with Lilia!

Darren is far from being fat but he is more of a man now than when he first danced on SCD. Lilia isn't quite so little either but they are both still gorgeous.

Wouldn`t go as far as the OP comments but Darren has certainly put on weight around his middle.

What a rude thread, but I will point out that Darren was very ill that week of the final, it was only adrenaline carrying them through (had to ditch a couple of lifts in the showdance) and he had lost a lot of weight then anyway, that is of course if the OP was seeing the final.

"Fat slob" is rather harsh, but you are right he has put on weight - and so has Lilia. Probably because they no longer dance competitively.......

I thought his jive with Jill earlier this series was fab too. God, we're a bitchy lot here. Who'd be on tv?

This thread is ridiculous...how can you call someone, who was doing that amount of dancing a fat slob...did you see their Latin medley?

Ok Darren may not be as slim as the other pros and I'm sure I read a while back about him being ill and had to take medication with steroids in (I could be wrong) but I'd hardly call a pro dancer a slob

Posters complain about how the judges comment on the celebs and their efforts, and the presumed offensive nature of what the say .......... and then we get an offensive thread title like this.

Yes Darren may not be in the same shape as he was four years ago but there's no reason to call him a slob! Him and Lilia no longer compete so the lack of training as probably meant that he's not burning as many calories as before. But that doesn't make him a slob.

What a silly thread! Didn't the OP see the show-stopping dance which Darren and Lilia did last Sunday to Volare? Had Darren really been a fat slob, he wouldn't have got through a quarter of that routine!
