Hi there, my dad is due for an upgrade on his pay monthly account, he has had it for 18month at £35 a month and is happy paying that because he gets quite alot of minutes / texts, and the o2 weekends thing saturday, sunday and monday free o2 and landline calls i think.

He is not too bothered about a new phone, rather get the best one and i have it, or we will sell it. Having going through the upgrade page on o2 the best one that i can see for free is either the N95 8GB or C902 titanium.

He rang up just over a month ago asking about te N96 and they said he would have to pay £100 for it !

Do you think there is no chance of getting this, or i would prefer to get the C905 either for me or to do whatever with.

I have tried requesting for the PAC code in hope for a call back asking him to stay but nothing.

O2 will give you the same deal a new customer can get. Therefore you can have any phone that a new customer would get for £35 a month.

On a £40 pm pay monthly contract 02 wanted £49 for a C905 and they would not budge even when the pac was requested
