Me. I keep refreshing the Spoiler thread. I will be very annoyed if Rachel is in the bottom two. If this forum is anything to go by, she doesn't have a lot of support out there.

What you said. (I agree, she dances from the inside out).

Can I just mention that I love Vincent but have never thought him hot until this tango? He was so adorable too talking about losing sleep-bless his heart.

I am so nervous! I keep watching the dance again.

You've just summed her up perfectly Rhumba!! I'm so glad she's not forcing the acting thing- because the performance is more 'true' to the Rachel off the dance floor, and I think that it works perfectly.

She's second on the forum poll though, which is heartening

But I agree, public support for Rachel overall is clearly lacking and if it wasn't for finishing top of the leaderboard tonight, I would not fancy her chances.

Still - can hardly express how RELIEVED I felt after the Tango - so I do understand.

See you're just as bad as me really!

The worst part of it was that the first comments to come were from Arelene's mouth and it wasn't looking promising until the very last minute when she praised the dance!

I thought Rachel and Vincent were wonderful tonight, and I have thought that Rachel has been the most consistent dancer throughout the whole series. I think she was a bit reserved at the start (a bit like another fave of mine, Mark Ramprakash), but she has recently begun to show a lot more emotion in her dancing, and I hate the way people seem so vindictive towards her. Vincent is such a talented guy, too, and his choreography is amazing.

i loved both dances, tango best but cha cha good also

very controlled and precise cha cha, would have liked it a little less restrained but still good

well done R&V - onwards....

I agree wholeheartedly with this. It isn't Rachel pretending to be a mistress of the night in the tango, or in the rumba - it is Rachel being passionate and intense toward Vincent in the context of the dance. That's what is so wonderful - they have wonderful chemistry, clean technique and surprising choreography

I adore Rachel, but I was so bored by their tango The choice of music may have something to do with it, it instantly pulled me out of any mood of passion or general tango-atmosphere.

There is a very very interesting article on the Mail on line now which I am sure will not please Rachel as it is strongly hinting that they may be closer than it appears. They are also on the front page of Tomorrows Mail On Sunday.

The opposite for me. Best Tango ever (even better than my previous favourite Alesha/Matthew).

Great music, super choreography (Vincent deserved the plaudits) and fantastic performance from Rachel. Agreed with everything Len noted - probably dance of the series for me.

Most boring tango of the series for me. No passion, no drive and awful music.

Any chance we could get Rachel swapped for Louisa for next week, Vincent had a personality when he danced with Louisa.

I don't think it's true at all.

In fact I question most if not all of these romances they talk about from the show. Looks like people making a quick buck.

That just shows how different we all are.

I think the tango was a masterpiece of intensity and passion - Arlene was right.

I find it hard to understand how others could possibly miss this - still it is subtle rather that 'in yer face' I suppose.

I thought the music was wonderful and right at the beginning the music and dance fit together fantastically. Absolutely spine-tingling - try watching it again.

The dress was fabulous.

I thought their Tango was breathtakingly good. I was another one who wondered what Arelene was going to say! Even though she was a little OTT in her comments I do think that it was one of the best Tangos we've seen on SCD for a long time.

Absolutely adored it - it was a technically excellent dance with the "wow" factor...

Really want to see a Vincent Argentine Tango!

I enjoyed both dances more when I watched them again - in fact, I find both of them addictive. I think it's because of having pre-concieved ideas of what they were going to look like. Len described the Tango perfectly, and Craig was right about the two tiny mistakes.
I think 39 was an accurate total.
The Cha Cha was again different, to match the music. Again the total was about right.

Hmm , It was a good dance , well executed but it lacked something I can't put my finger on . No passion for me .
I haven't seem much in the way of wow from anyone this series .

I can't see this huge enjoyment and chemistry at all . However , I do think as the series has progressed she has developed more of a personality .

I have to agree with an earlier post on this thread , her dresses are far too long and her feet cannot be seen . Len commented about the length last week and then said he knew her feet were correct because of the rise and fall . Now there are pull along toys which go up and down when the wheels go around ! Either he can see her feet to check her technique or he can't . No one else has dresses that long .

NB Last night's dance is now on the BBC site , it was last night .
