Completely agree Sid.... Bland and boring are definitely not words I'd associate with that Tango. As you say though- each to their own... I can appreciate that people don't see what I do in Rachel and Vincent. The world would be a boring place if everyone thought the same!

True, but I like to be entertained. Safe, textbook dances are boring, which is what we will get now for the next 2 shows (or you will, i wont be watching)

I agree Ellie, difference of opinion is what keeps the forum ticking!

I like to be entertained too and R & V's Tango was top notch entertainment. But it's all subjective, what flicks my switch might not flick yours!

I certainly wouldn't label that Tango "textbook" though. It was full of difficult and intricate work and as Craig indicated, a very courageous and original choice of music.

And you weren't entertained- which is fair enough. For me though, Vincent's choreography is anything but safe, and I do think Rachel is finally bringing the performance side up to her technical ability. As I say though I understand why you feel that way- two years ago I didn't watch the semi final because Louisa and Vincent got knocked out in the quarters. I do regret it a bit though, because I missed Mark and Karen's AT (have since seen on youtube- but it's not the same as watching 'as live'), so even if my favourites are knocked out, I'll continue to watch, incase anyone else manages that moment of magic.

I'm in a generous mood Ellie lol

And yes we echoed what each other said re: the choreography. Vincent always takes risk by being innovative and challenging his partners. That's what makes his partnerships so exciting to watch.

The more I see of Rachel with Vincent ,the more I love them.
Brilliant dances both of them and Rachel has learnt so much these couple of weeks.
A real pro!

The Tango was the best, smooth, floating and steady. Great leg work from Rachel there.

I've watched the tango a few more times since last night and I love it more each time I see it. Still comes third to Zoe and Louisa for me but it was absolutely fantastic! I love Vincent's choreography.

Off subject but I watched Tom & Camilla a few more times also and I loved that dance (and Tom afterwards).

That heel click thing was genius!!! And perfectly in time with the music.

That's what I love about Vincent - his musical interpretation. You can never say it's boring.

<smooches> all round!!

Hello everyone - I thought it was great that Len thought it was the best dance of the night.
He saw the passion of it right enough!

Just the tiny bit of it that we saw on the Results show made my heart thud in my chest!

So So pleased R&V are through to dance the AT.
