Basically, the marks for the jive were about right but it is a comparative thing and i think that other dances were overmarked. Len, if i am not wrong, gave 4 10 marks in a row which to me is just ridiculous. How can you give everyone 10 and then have any perspective on comnparative performance. To me the best ballroom dance was lisa's waltz so she should gain some advantage from that. Considering how difficult the jive is i personally thought that the performance was on par with the other latin dances.

Will behaving like a tosser gain or lose public votes for Lisa ? Brendan might be afraid of a dance-off with Rachel, but it's more likely to be with Austin, which they should win with the waltz.

I think he was hasty not a tosser though, he just believed lisa did better than the scores reflected, yep maybe he should have handled it better, but hey ho, hes passionate about lisa!

It wasn't as if she was slated or she received bad marks though - same with the rhumba she got a mark that was actually fair and Brendy threw his toys out of the pram because he didn't get the 9's he wanted. I'm sure Erin was disappointed but she didn't throw a hissy hit about it.

I've thought 'good' Brendan was been incredible arrogant in the expectation of his mark all series and tonight just showed his true colours for the first time in a while. I hope he goes tonight.

Brendan simply threw his rattle out the pram, very predictable Brendan not getting his own way,but the jive was awful.
Extremely unprofessional storming off like that,he's never complained the weeks he and Lisa have been overmarked and there have been many.
They weren't slated by the judges,no bad comments and if anything generous marks from the judges.

Unfortunately for Lisa I think Brendans strop will have lost them votes!

Brendan did not throw his rattle out he simply didnt agree, and left...

Maybe if more had the balls to do that the judges wouldnt eb so power hungry!

I think part of the problem is the judges praising Lisa's efforts and then not following through with the marks. Had they all pointed out faults and problems with the dance then both Lisa and Brendan would have been more prepared for the marks they got. Len was the only one who said anything slightly detrimental but both Arlene and Craig praised and then didn't follow through with the marks. For once Bruno got it spot on, he praised AND gave the marks accordingly.

What did Jodie and Ian get fpr their jive?

I wonder if they were who he meant when he said about other jives un-justly getting higher scores?

I think lisa deserved more!!! from the judges!

I agree with him that they were undermarked. I also think Jodie's jive was undermarked. I think the judges are so stuck in a mindset that "tall people can't...." this and that, thay they will undermark on principal. Not even just that, though... Jodie's waltz was undermarked when compared to Cherie's, which got high praise and high marks to match. Jodie's got the high praise, but not the high marks. I think the judges are very prejudiced against taller people and I think that Arlene and Len talk a complete load of rubbish when they spout off on the subject. I'm surprised they didn't come out with stuff like "Well Don, you did a great Salsa, but then you're bound to have a great sense of rhythm aren't you?" It's just pig ignorant and it annoys me hugely.

Having sounded off about that, I don't think Brendan did the right thing about huffing off like that. What's the point? It achieves nothing. He should learn to control his temper and he should not have left Lisa standing alone with Tess. Imagine what he would have been like if he and Lisa had been kicked out over John Sergeant - and you thought James was bad!

Kisses to Tom for gallantly taking Lisa's side in her embarassment.

At least it proves the show's live though!

ok heres is my two penny worth, i hate brendan cole but i agree with him on most things, and yes i can see why he takes the huff and says what he thinks, i'd rather have him mouthing off and creating debate than the sheep mentality of the other three professional dancers who have made it this far,

if brucie ever leaves SCD then i for one would want brendan to be the host, after all he does not let the judges off lightly and that would make an interesting mix, god for bid if that idiot du berk was made host, that would make the show unwatchable,

God from what was posted here I thought it was a proper strop!

Really not as dramatic as what has been made out on here and think that he has neither come off well or badly in this!

Whether u think he should have gone off or not he just wants to get to the final as do all the pros and getting low marks, as everyone knows in this ultra close competition pretty much means u will be in the bottom 2!

None of them want this, Brendan justlet his emotions spill over, that's all.

There's a difference between not looked pleased and throwing a strop like a three year old and leaving your partner just standing there. No I don't think that Austin and Erin were that much worse than everyone else - both Lisa and Rachel were over-marked IMO.

Yep but I think brendans point was more poiginat!

he believed lisa deserved more and others had got more for less...

What he did wrong was storm off, leaving Lisa there. That was embarrassing. To be angry might seem okay, if he stayed there by her side and just said he was not happy with the scores.

Brendan will be Brendan. He tries to hold back but sometimes his tongue gets the better of him. I thought it was actually quite a comical tug of war and then Tom stepping in to lighten the atmosphere. It didn't take Brendan long to see his was clear of his annoyance - he was there clapping along happily for Tom and Rachel.

I don't like the tens being given out like candy. I remember Jill turned in some excellent routines and didn't get a ten for them. I was never actually a Jill fan but can recognise that she gave some quite spectacular performances. Len and Bruno seem to be confused about which show they are on - it's not DWTS!!!

Brendan also said on ITT last week that he didn't think any dance was worth a 10(which I totally agree with) but if they were dishing them out of course he wanted some of them

I was very happy to see the return of angry Brendan-I've missed him.Perhaps he could have a special song for when he storms off like Wolf in Gladiators
I love Brendan and was glad he was happy and calm this series but a bit of drama never goes amiss

What I disliked most was that he seemed to be dragging Lisa away too and she barely mananged to remain and try and limit the damage, just as Tess is about to tell people to vote for them. He should realise after six series that such behaviour does not benefit his partner when it comes to people voting for them.

Will he never learn that throwing a hissy fit is not really the best way of trying to motivate the public to vote for you, something they were in serious need of tonight.
