Nice to see the singers (Hayley in particular) get some appreciation at last, would really like to see then get their own spot on a Sunday night show - wishful thinking I know.

Who exactly are the singers and how many of them are there?

Well there are 4 singers, don't think they normally sing together apart from strictly. The only one I know by name is Hayley Sanderson, on the left of the band as you look at them.

I remember hayley singing "come away with me" and "Rainbow connection" week one and I thought she was well good

ANd the chap who sits next to her I did not expect him to have such a strong northen accent hahaha!

Without trying to be funny - that IS their job. They are basically acting as session musicians, and a decent session musician should be able to do that.

I don't know which are which, who is who, but certainly there are a couple of good voices. Sometimes they get unfair stick, but to be honest, sometimes it has been because they have not done a good job with particular songs.

If you go onto beebs forum and choose 'about the show' you see a bit about them. I know Tommy Blaize has sang with Basement Jaxx on Crazy Itch radio album, his lead vocal was 'On the train' , which I love

The band are absolutely amazing. They get each style spot-on. They are one of the great things about the show. Which is why it is such a nonsense when big names come on a mime. I don't know how they have the bottle to do that in front of real musicians.
