It's been a while but the unprecedented closeness of this competition drives me back to the forums.

Is any of the old gang here? The last time I posted heavily was 2005 and I have to say that this year things have been so brilliant I'm back...

I wonder if anyone else remembers the year custard hit the forums and the colour turned pink and Claudia started first mentioning us and invited a bunch of us to ITT and there was a rampaging elephant called Tiny?

oh yes - when we barricaded the car parks and wouldn't let anyone out... those were the days

when some of us went down to London and were in the audience for It Takes Two...

Hi y'all. I remember those days. That series - combined with the forum - was so much fun.

Sadly now I am older and no longer a student (like a lot of the other FMs) I hardly get the time to join in. I was lurking today because I wanted to see the spoiler result, and then my eyes got drawn to the word CUSTARD.

Yep I am lurking a bit, and have intermittently the last few years.
Yep that year I was in the run up to my Medicine finals - I actually was sitting them and posting at the same time. These forums got me through some tough times. I've actually been working as a doctor now for 2 and a half years and those student days seem so long ago. It's sad a bit I guess but yes, difficult to find time to post like then!

I do miss Tiny and Custard though - it was amazing we got the forum turned pink!

Happyfeet - Two and a half years as a doctor! What grade are you now? I still can't get my round the switch from HO, SHO etc to FY1 etc

Well I've done F1 and F2, and now I am a CT1 (i.e. second year SHO) training in Psychiatry. I'm not sure what that says about me, but I do love it!

And how are all of you doing?

And Linolic Acid used to design the squirrel costumes, I wonder how she's doing these days - she must be all grown up now. After The Velvet Snug forum vanished off the face of the earth one night, I lost touch with most of the old gang.

Happyfeet!! I remember you so well and tiny and the custard and the ambulance and me mentioning 'happy feet' on the ITT forumites panel. Was it for Bill or James Martin? Sorry, lost in the mists of time. There was Startwirler, Peach UK and Strictly Addict and me on that panel. Sadly, we've lost contact with Strictly Addict and I think Peach drops into the Bill thread now and again. Star keeps her 'Warm and Tranquil Room going strong.

I see star is keeping the warm room going yes. There were some inventive cocktails also yes.

Tiny was decommissioned for a few years as he was wardobe consultant for the Madagascar films - he's back now and he's lost weight due to a bout of glitter-induced illness.

He needs fattening up.

I'll be by the Strictly exits firing up a cauldron - we can't let any more people leave I think - perhaps we can entice some old dancers back too...
