I've got a feeling that Alex is going to be very disappointed because she thinks she's amazing but really isn't..

I think it's wrong for all the judges and people on xtra factor to keep bigging her up like that just for the show. Brenda, Maria, Rowetta were all far better singers than her... where are they now after everyone was saying they would be very successful?

They should get real, especially Simon Cowell because all the contestants believe what he says. Watching her on the xtra factor now you can tell that she is believing all the hype.

Where is the "success" going to her head?

She is very happy to be where she is and is well aware that anyone of them could have gone home tonight.

She's also said she'll be happy when no matter when she leaves.

I think she's a great singer and will have a fabulolus career.

They were doing the same to Diana at the start, look where that got her!

She does have that air of 'I've already won this' about her, where as the others are still a bit downbeat. Maybe JLS were closer to Diana, we know Eoghan was.

I don't mind watching her on X Factor, but as for buying any of her cover songs she'll inevitably release, I'll pass. The originals are better.

She's the only one left that has any X Factor about her.

Which probably means she will indeed finish third. We only have to look at Leon to see how much taste the British public have

She hasn't done herself any favours with her comments between songs, ie "if anyone gets in my way...." I liked her before that. Went off her afterwards.

Alexandra just seems confident to me. She's always grateful for comments and always looks shaky when waiting for critique. I think she seems like a lovely girl.

Incidentally, Diana said tonight and I quote "I'm just happy I went on a week when I was amazing" - that says more than any way Alexandra has behaved imo.

I think she is the most talented there but kind of agree. She's melodramatic and acts like one of my drama teachers from school.

Its a shame that some of these Diana fans who are throwing bitter little jibes about Alex around cant learn from their Queen. If Diana is mature enough to be graceful in defeat then you should follow her lead. Do you really think that Diana would want you slaggin Alex to the 9's? I think not!

I noticed that too I was a bit for her!

I think Alex always seems gracious!

Well Brenda appears to be making a good living out of it - just because you dont see her on telly doesnt mean to sa she's not working - but I suppose if you think success has to be worldwide stardom, not many people have that. And they are lucky to be doing something they love.

I'm not sure she meant it that way but that's how it came out... but nobody's mentioned that, only how big-headed Alexandra is?! Double standards on here.

Alex IS gracious. She's just so smiley and bubbly, maybe that comes across as being over-confident, but I think she's got a lovely personality. People slated Leona for being boring and Alex is being slated for being big-headed! Obviously the young girls can't win

Alexandra is the best of a bad bunch. Although she possesses a decent set of pipes and a rich tone, she can't hold a high belted note to save her life and her lower register isn't too great either. Still, on vocals alone she deserves to win.

Let her smile and have a laff, out of all those people who went to the audtions to have a go shes in the final 3, its got to feel good considering she didnt get that far the last time round.

You could say the same about JLS who look very smug but they are just feeling the same, let them enjoy it it wont last forever

Yes "I thought she [Diana] was going to win" is definitely an obvious indication that Alex is arrogant.

Spot on with that.

I guess that all week it will be thread after thread denigrating Alexandra. Kinda childish and sad behaviour.

Her broadcast to "the people of the world"(or whatever she said) was a bit OTT.

OP hasn't actaully prpved the case against Alex in terms of sucess going to her head. I personnally thought that last weeks comments were a wee bit OTT ( not that I think that Alex wasn't very very good) but where does the going to her head come in?

I totally agree with you...

I think shes just normal and pleased to be thru, how has her 'sucess' gone to her head??? shes probs thrilled shes still in the competition, seeing as the rest of the true talent, apart from herself has been voted off.....
